Some places you find by following a map. Others, you find by following the smell. ✨

Welcome to Buffet Škola, a little Dubrovnik classic tucked inside the Old Town — where food is simple, generous and full of that familiar Mediterranean feeling. Fresh bread on the table, a drizzle of olive oil, homemade flavours and the kind of lunch that makes you slow down for a moment. 🫒🥖

📣 Škola traži novu kolegicu! ❤️

📍 rad u Buffet Školi u Starom gradu
• puno radno vrijeme u 2 smjene
• stalno zaposlenje
• slobodan dan u tjednu
• plaćen prijevoz
• uredna prijava i redovita primanja

Vidimo se u Školi. ❤️

Four signature spritzes, four little tastes of Dubrovnik. ✨ At Buffet Škola, the cocktail list leans into local Mediterranean flavours — from caramelised figs and bay leaf to traditional rose liqueur, Plavac Mali, candied citrus and Dubrovnik bitter orange. Try the Mediterranean Fig & Bay Spritz, Adriatic Rose Spritz, Dalmatian W**e Spritz or Dubrovnik Bitter Orange Spritz and discover a more local way to do aperitivo in Dubrovnik. Perfect for a sunny afternoon, an early evening drink or a stop while exploring the city. 🍊🌿🍷

Thirty years ago, Ana’s mother opened the doors of Buffet škola with a simple idea: good food, honest work, and a warm welcome for everyone who walked in. Today, Ana carries that same spirit forward.

She’s the kind of person who’s always moving. While most of the Old Town is still waking up, she’s already baking bread. And when the last loaf is gone, she simply starts again. Fresh bread isn’t something they prepare once a day - it’s something they keep making, over and over, because that’s just how they’ve always done it.

The legendary prosciutto sandwiches have stayed exactly the same for 30 years, made with homemade bread, local prosciutto, and the kind of care you can’t rush. Between pulling warm loaves from the oven and mixing what many locals swear are the best cocktails in Dubrovnik, Ana somehow still finds time to welcome every guest with a genuine smile.

Just a few steps from Stradun, Buffet škola isn’t trying to impress anyone with trends. It never needed to. For three decades, it has quietly won people over with the smell of fresh bread, recipes that never changed, and the feeling that you’ve stumbled into a place that still believes the best things in life should be made by hand.

Some places are built with stone. Buffet škola was built with flour, family, and thirty years of never letting the bread basket stay empty. ❤️

When the figs are ripe, you don’t rush them. You leave them to the sun, turn them with care, and let time do the rest. That’s how we learned it, and that’s how they still find their way to your table.

At Buffet škola, every dried fig carries a little taste of old Dubrovnik
