「牧牛湖清水蟹皇」

產於安徽省馬鞍山市當塗縣的牧牛湖，與白洋澱蟹、陽澄湖
蟹並列為中國三大淡水名蟹，屬於正宗清水蟹皇品種的中華絨鰲蟹，其特徵為青背
白肚，金爪紅毛，體大肢壯，油厚膏甜，肉質鮮美，保留了純正清水蟹皇的真味。
根據《當塗縣志》記載，清朝乾隆皇帝下江南時，品嚐過「牧牛湖清水蟹皇」後，即御封之為「蟹王之王」；而1972年美國總統尼克遜訪華時，更被指定為國宴用菜。詩仙李白一生七次遊歷當塗，晚年更在此定居，其著名詩作《月下獨酌．之四》云：「蟹螯即金液，糟丘是蓬萊。且須飲美酒，乘月醉高台」，可見李白對蟹之欣
賞。
清水蟹皇由蟹苗生長至成年蟹，一般歷時兩年，期間，清水蟹皇通常棲息在湖內，因此水質對清水蟹皇極為重要。 牧牛湖清水蟹皇的養殖生產主要採用”種草，投螺，稀放，配養” 的天然生態養殖技術，種植大量優質水草，移植大量鮮活螺螄，為清水蟹皇生長提供大量天然飼料，並同時保持優良生態環境。


整個養殖生產過程嚴格按照國家無公害水產品生產標準，並一律禁止使用任何抗生素等國家禁用藥物，以確保清水蟹皇的食用安全。 牧牛湖"賢進"牌清水蟹皇除通過了安徽省出入境檢驗檢疫局的產品和產地檢驗外，更於2004年通過了國家無公害農產品產地和無公害產品的雙認証，並通過香港SGS 檢驗合格證明，此外還在2007年12月28日獲取由香港標準及檢定中心頒發「優質「正」印標誌證書」。
