Museum CAFE8 Cafe 8 is a unique vocational training programme for learners of The Nesbitt Centre and other NGOs/organisations in Hong Kong.

A social enterprise initiative of The Nesbitt Centre creating unique vocational training and employment for adults with learning disabilities and neurodiversities. The Nesbitt Centre provides an English-speaking educational programme for adults with learning disabilities together with a respite and residential facility, which helps their learners to achieve independence and to develop thei

r own potential and opportunities within the community. Through Café 8 and The Nest vocational training programmes, we aim to provide employment opportunities for our learners and help them learn and develop important skills required for the workplace and everyday life, while increasing their involvement within the local community.

We are so excited to host Daisy from Racine Pâtisserie for a one-day-only pop-up event on March 28th.

After honing her craft at the prestigious École Ducasse and working in the kitchens of France, Daisy is bringing her dream to life: French pâtisseries with a beautiful "Canto twist" 🇭🇰🇫🇷

What’s on the counter?
🍫 Chocolate Ginger Tart – A spicy-sweet embrace.
🍮 Flan Parisian – The gold standard of vanilla custard and puff pastry.
🔴 Red Datte Religieuse – Classic French choux meets local tradition.

As we welcome the Year of the Horse, Museum Cafe 8 will be taking a short break to celebrate the festivities with our loved ones.

Please take note of our holiday hours:
17 February 2026 (Tuesday): We will be CLOSED.
18 February 2026 (Wednesday): We will RESUME operations at Pier 8! ☕

We apologize for any inconvenience. Before you head out to enjoy the fireworks or visit the carnival nearby, make sure to swing by on the 18th for your favorite harbor-view coffee!

A Record-Breaking Milestone at Museum Cafe 8 ✨

We are bursting with pride! This past Tuesday (3 February), the annual Operation Santa Claus (OSC) 2025 campaign officially concluded with a beautiful closing ceremony hosted right here at our social enterprise, Museum Cafe 8.

Under the theme "Building Bridges," the campaign achieved something truly extraordinary: raising over HK$19 million for those in need! 🎊

The Impact:
🧡 Emergency Relief: HK$5.3M was raised to support families affected by the Tai Po fire.
🤝 Supporting Local Heroes: HK$13.9M will go toward 13 local NGOs helping children, the elderly, and those in mental health recovery.

It was an honor to welcome the organizers, donors, and beneficiary representatives to our space at Central Pier 8 to celebrate these incredible results.

At Cafe 8, our mission is about more than just great coffee—it’s about creating a space where the community can come together. Thank you to Operation Santa Claus HK 愛心聖誕大行動 for choosing our cafe as the venue for such a meaningful event! ❤️

Holiday Opening Hours Notice from Café 8 ✨

As the holidays sparkle and the festive season approaches, we wanted to share our special opening hours so you can plan your visits to Café 8!

We'll be adjusting our schedule slightly to celebrate with our team and loved ones:

📆 22nd December:
We will be OPEN until 3 PM. Come enjoy a festive bite before we close early!

📆 25th December (Christmas Day):
We will be CLOSED for the day. Our team will be enjoying Christmas cheer, and we hope you are too!

We look forward to welcoming you for your cozy coffee breaks and delicious meals throughout the rest of the season. Thank you for making Café 8 a part of your year!
