有別於現代將咖啡渣過濾的習慣，土耳其咖啡把豆研磨得很幼細，混合沖煮，咖啡渣沉於杯底，喝起來香氣濃郁富口感。而利用細沙作熱源，令咖啡均勻受熱，做出豐厚的泡沫，增加層次感，讓咖啡加倍濃郁。
