What a year it has been! What started as a hopeful year, became a challenging one. We got through it thanks to our wonderful guests, to whom we are ever so thankful for their support, as well as our team.

What a year it has been! What started as a hopeful year, became a challenging one. We got through it thanks to our wonderful guests, to whom we are ever so thankful for their support, as well as our team. NEW HEAD CHEF AT BEDU!

We are very excited to have Richard officially at the helm at BEDU. With his experience and flair for Middle Eastern cuisine, we can’t wait to see what unique touches he will bring to our menu.

Working under Executive Chef Corey Riches for the past 12 months, Richard Solnik is now ready to take charge of the kitchen and continue to further the restaurant’s sustainable focus.
 
Using cooking techniques that have been passed down through generations, Head Chef Richard Solnik will continue to follow BEDU’s rich culinary traditions, using a range of exotic products, and flavoursome spices to showcase the diverse vegetable-driven cuisine of the Middle East in Hong Kong. Richard will also oversee the menu at , implementing seasonal ingredient changes and maintaining the brand’s health-conscious, nutrition-first approach to quality driven convenience food.  
 
Meet and sample Richard Solnik’s dishes every Monday to Sunday from 12pm-3pm and 6pm-10pm at 40 Gough Street.

A modern BEDOUIN arrives in HONG KONG

BEDU is a cosy Middle Eastern restaurant & bar located in Central Hong Kong that showcases the region’s diverse street food culture through a contemporary approach in the kitchen, on the floor and behind the bar.

We’ve taken inspiration from the nomadic wanderings of the Bedouin tribes across the deserts of North Africa to the rocky sands of the Middle East. Their journey guided by the night stars has influenced the rich culinary traditions, exotic products, flavoursome spices and cooking methods that have been passed down through generations defining Middle Eastern cuisine today.
