It all started in July 1989 in the little town of Bridgewater, Pennsylvania. Bruce Reed, the “Bruce in Bruster’s”, opened the first Bruster’s Ice Cream and it was an instant sensation! People could not get enough of the lip-smacking tasty treats served at Bruster’s. His fate was sealed; and sharing the business he loved became his dream. Today, the brand continues to grow and Bruster’s is associated with great employees, fast friendly service and darn good Ice Cream.
