Fusion Hospitality was born from a shared vision between passionate creatives determined to elevate hospitality in Guyana. What began with a simple collaboration between Javid, Chef Victor, and Yonnick quickly evolved into the creation of Nikkei Guyana after one unforgettable meal made the vision impossible to ignore. With longtime friend Christian McRae joining as an investor, the journey officially began.

But the mission was always bigger than opening a restaurant. Fusion Hospitality was built to create experiences that bring people together through food, culture, creativity, and connection raising the standard for dining, nightlife, and entertainment in Guyana while creating opportunities for the next generation of hospitality talent.

As a Co-Founder of Nikkei Guyana and Managing Director of Fusion Hospitality Inc., Yonnick David helped bring together a shared vision for creating exceptional dining experiences and elevating hospitality standards in Guyana. Alongside business partners Javid Rahaman and Executive Chef Victor Tenias Padrón, he played a key role in launching Nikkei Guyana, the country’s pioneering Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant.

More than simply opening a restaurant, the team set out to redefine what hospitality could be in Guyana, combining world-class cuisine, memorable guest experiences, and innovative concepts under the Fusion Hospitality banner. Through Nikkei, Yonnick has helped establish a brand recognized for its creativity, quality, and commitment to raising the bar for the local hospitality industry while contributing to job creation, tourism, and the continued development of Guyana’s food and beverage sector.
