Had a private session today with 2 travelers from Los Angeles- Logan and Mani.

We discussed Tea as a Plant Spirit Medicine and aid for meditation, and did a bit of somatic exercises in order to recieve fully a cup of tea.

They had just climbed the volcano Acatenango, and are spending another week in Guatemala.

We started off with a Wild Tree Purple Tea, in many ways the tea that started it all for me.

Next we had an incredible Shui Xian oolong (available on the website).

We finished off the session with Medicine Cake, the 2008 clay urn aged Lincang shu puerh.

It was a beautiful and thoughtful provoking sit.

The Mountain Sanctuary Tea Temple is open for appointments, tea tastings and silent sits now until February 20 when I fly to Malaysia for the spring.

We also have many Teas and Puerh for sale here at the Lake.

Our upper space has been the main tea space here for the last year, and is also where we keep our extensive collection of Vintage Puerh and other Teas.

It is the space where we can fit the most people for meditations, concerts and other events.

While there stunning views of the lake and volcanoes from this space, our upper space feels more introspective and contained. ♨️

Perfect for deep dives. 🌌

Had an wonderful sunrise tea sit with Paulina Vargas, I lovingly call her "Grandma"- as she has a big nurturing spirit and powerful wise energy.

Of course we drank Grandma's Cookie, my prize 1988 clay urn Malaysia Aged shu puerh, and soon I will have to open up another cake, with only about 13 left forever.

Paulina has been adding her magic to Arco Isis Sanctuary for some time now, first as a social media/digital representative, and now as Guest Relations manager.

Paulina is without a doubt the feminine touch we have been calling in for the Sanctuary- she is a big nurturer, extremely talented in organization and systems, and is a total joy to be around.

We have been having so much synergy working and living together here, and I look forward to what our combined powers hold for both , as well as the Mountain Sanctuary Tea Temple. ♨️🍵🌅

Well, we did it! 🥳

Yesterday we had another unexpected guest- it seems friends keep showing up despite all the construction!

My friend Jackie from high school is travelling Guatemala and exploring the popular treasures around- Tikal, Semuc Champey, the Lake and more!

Jackie runs high level hospitality venues in the United States, and was super impressed with and all that we have built here!

We drank a beautiful red tea with rose buds gifted by . 🌹🍵

We are roughly 10 days or from reopening our Tea Temple here in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala for high season! 🤩

We had some spontaneous guests today- and Shayna come up for Tea even though we are still dusty and stuff is all over the place!

I had an unexpectedly deep sit with these sisters over a 11 year Rou Gui Oolong, a much needed drop in amidst a pretty crazy and exciting 2 weeks here as the construction is starting to turn to clean up.

The ladies left with some 1970's Dry Aged Sheng Puerh and some 1988 Grandma's Cookie from .

We are offering one final sale in order to raise the final funds needed to finish the Temple!

Had a wonderful day with Morelia Mendoza Muy and her partner Guillermo at the Tea Temple.

We got to chat about life and plant medicines over a breathtaking Malaysia Shu Puerh, 'Eternal Honor.'

We finished the session with a stunning sheng, the 2005 Ancient Tree Yiwu Sheng and got activated from the otherwise relaxing shu.

Morelia and Guillermo are the makers of and I will be bringing back just a few dozen bricks of their precious Mayan Cacao.

It's truly top notch medicine and I am grateful to be able to support my friends and be connected to the makers.
