AND JUST LIKE THAT… SUMMER IS OVER.
Tonight my dear friends we close our doors for the summer and honestly… where did the time go?

It feels like only yesterday we were getting ready to open. I remember us rushing when we were cleaning everything to get the place ready in May and wondering what kind of summer was ahead of us. And let me tell you - oh what a summer this one has been !!!

One of the strangest things about it is how quickly a whole season can disappear. You spend months waiting for summer to arrive… then blink of the eye ,suddenly it’s October and you’re looking back wondering how it went so fast.
But looking back tonight it’s hard to pick just a few memories. Among the busy nights, the quiet days, the laughs, the madness, the love and banter with our customers and friends, the stories shared with a drink , the familiar faces that we were excited to see us again, among the endless hugs given and the ups and the downs ...all of them made this summer one of its kind and every bit of it worthwhile.
And now somehow, we’re already saying goodbye to another summer and welcoming winter ahead . Hence why tonight , we at Papa’s will raise a glass and enjoy the feeling of knowing we’ve made another summer full of memories among you all , our dear friends...

From the bottom of our hearts :
to everyone who came and shared their time with us, came back again and again, recommended us to friends, helped us build this place up ,had a conversationwith us or simply just walked through our doors to say hello — we want to say a big THANK YOU.
You’ve made this summer something we’ll remember for a very long time.

On this special day ,with a very few weeks left from the end of this season I look back and think about the past months.
About all the long working hours, restless days, about all the people I have meet, all the conversations I have shared with them, all the effort that was put on the service from all the staff and being on top of the tables, the fun , the laughters and the memories behind the bar and in the kitchen. I think about families we watched grow, the people who travelled back to Tsilivi and came straight at us as the first port of call.
I think about the familiar faces, the hugs, the laughs, the people that have their own table at us and the customers who somehow knew exactly what they were ordering before they even sat down.
But most importantly I think of the people who came to Papa’s as customers and somehow became good friends… and even part of our big family .

And then I realised what is it about running a restaurant .... when I look back at Papa's , I don't just see tables and chairs, plates and glasses.
I see memories.
And honestly… I wouldn't change a thing and would do it over and over again as long as I'll have the strength to do it !!!

Today we are voted No.6 in the most popular established in Tsilivi and this wouldn't have been possible without you my good friends.
And I , would like to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart !!
