📯Το Καταδυτικό Κέντρο Σκοπέλου κλείνει την μία βάση-γραφείο στην χώρα Σκοπέλου (παραμένει η Καταδυτική βάση στον Πάνορμο-Αντρίνες) και διοργανώνει παζάρι προσφοράς αντικειμένων που δεν χρειάζεται. Το Σάββατο 12/10 από τις 12:00 έως της 16:00 στο χώρο μας απέναντι από το beach volley, κοντά στην Εθνική τράπεζα, θα βρείτε αντικείμενα όπως, τραπέζια, καρέκλες, μεγάλες ομπρέλες, σκαμπό, μαξιλάρια, τέντες σκίασης, ηλεκτρικές συσκευές και άλλα σε πολύ χαμηλές τιμές. Skopelos Dive Center closes its office-base in Skopelos town (still operating from May to October in Panormos-Adrines) and organizes a bazaar to sell off various items it does not need. On Saturday 12/10 from 12:00 until 16:00 at our base opposite the beach volley, close to National Bank, you will find items such as tables, chairs, large umbrellas, stools, cushions, shade tents and more offered in really low price. We are waiting for you!

Tap water -if it's chemically tested and approved- is considered a way better option from bottled water as it has a much lower environmental impact and costs considerably less. Although, sometimes can have a mineral content that may upset some people's stomachs. Filtering tap water can be the solution especially using low-tech, environmental friedly and efficient solutions -like the one published from MIT researchers using Pine trees wood filtering-, particularly ''for rural communities where more advanced filtration systems are not readily accessible''. With a Pine trees' forest coverage of more than 70%, and a slightly brarckish taste of water as in most of the greek islands, Skopelos should adopt similar methodologies to foster the tap-water use again to its citizens and visitors, towards a more sustainable use of natural resources.
