From our yiayia’s kitchen, a Greek classic that never needed to be complicated.

Chicken or pork, seasoned with oregano and paprika, grilled until juicy, then served with warm pita, golden hand-cut fries and a fresh tomato-onion salad with good olive oil.

Simple ingredients. A hot grill. And one important rule: get it to the table quickly, because good souvlaki waits for no one.

Until we meet again, we’re bringing a little Mandara to your kitchen.

Summer may be over. Mentally, we’re still here.

Somewhere between the first freddo of the morning and the last glass of the night. Around a table that keeps getting louder, with plates still arriving and the parea insisting on staying just a little longer.

Skiathos has a way of following you home.

Which Mandara moment are you mentally going back to?

Two words that mean the table is officially ready.

The plates have arrived, everyone’s reaching for the first bite, and for a moment, nothing matters except the food in front of you and the people beside you.

“Kali orexi” is more than good appetite.

It’s an invitation to slow down, share everything, and enjoy the moment properly.

So, pull up a chair and kali orexi from Mandara!

Funny how a whole summer can feel like one long night around the table.

The morning coffees that turned into lunch. The dinners that got louder. The glasses raised with old friends and new ones. The music, the dancing, the OPA moments, the parea that kept growing.

Mandara Summer 2026 was made of all of it.

But mostly, it was made of you.

Tomorrow, 30 September, we gather around the tables one last time before we say goodbye to the season.

So there’s still time for one more plate, one more toast, one more “shall we stay a little longer?”

Come spend the last day of summer at Mandara with us.

Then, until the tables fill again.

See you next summer!

It always starts innocently.

A drink at Mandara. A little catch-up with the parea. Nothing too late.

Then another round arrives. The music gets louder. Someone’s out of their seat. The table becomes part of the dance floor, and those “quiet plans” suddenly have a very different ending.

Greek summer nights have never been particularly good at following the plan.

We have until the last night of September to prove it one more time.

And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Some things aren’t meant to be enjoyed through a screen.

The fork twists. The sauce pours. The yolk breaks. That first bite lands, and suddenly everything else around the table goes quiet for a second.

Then comes the w**e, the laughter, the parea — and the night takes over.

With the 30th of September marking our last day of the season, there are only a few more chances to experience it all around the table.

Don’t just watch Mandara.

Come taste it, feel it, live it.

From our yiayia’s kitchen, where summer recipes need very little to taste like everything.

A Cretan dakos starts with the good stuff: ripe tomatoes grated fresh, a generous pour of olive oil, crisp rusk softened just enough, and a cloud of feta mousse finished with fragrant thyme.

Fresh, simple, a little messy — exactly as it should be.

The kind of plate that tastes like a Greek summer afternoon and disappears even faster when the parea is around.

Life’s short. And some cravings deserve your full attention.

The roll hits the table. Soy is poured. Chopsticks are ready. Someone says they’ll only have one piece, which everyone knows is optimistic.

Fresh salmon, creamy avocado, crisp cucumber, crispy onion — little contrasts that make Sushi Mandara unmistakably its own.

And with the final sushi night of the season here, this is no time to hesitate over the menu.

See you tonight for one last taste!

Ιt was meant to be a quick lunch.

Then the bread arrived. Someone ordered another plate “for the table”. The w**e made an appearance. Dessert started sounding reasonable.

And suddenly, nobody remembers what the afternoon plans were.

Lunch at Mandara has a habit of getting wonderfully out of hand.

Can you handle it?

18/09/2026

It’s never really about the number.

It’s about the first sip turning into a longer conversation, another glass appearing on the table, and your parea deciding there’s absolutely no reason to leave yet!

Cocktails have a funny way of making the night choose for you.

Come thirsty. Stay for the stories.
