Dear friend and customers,

It is with great sadness that I announce today that the restaurant has closed. We will not open this season or in the near future. We had a great run, and for 23 years it has been a second home to me and my family. It's been a pleasure working with all our staff , and I'd like to thank them for their service .A lot a great and important memories where made here and I hope, that you as a customer, had a great dining experience.
A lot of you may have questions as to why, but I think that you already know the realities of the situation here in Lesvos. Whatever the outcome may be for all of us involved, know that Molyvos still has a lot of potential to be a great tourist destination. The beaches are clean, the sun is shining everyday and the people still smile despite the odds.
We wish you all a happy holiday and hope to see you again. As for the other businesses in molyvos we truly wish you, a great season and all the best . Be optimistic , times will change.

Αγαπητοί φίλοι και πελάτες

Με μεγάλη μ λύπη σας ανακοινώνω , πως το εστιατόριο έχει κλείσει για αυτήν την σεζόν και για το προβλεπόμενο μέλλον. Θα ήθελα να εκφράσω την ευχαρίστηση μας σε όλο το προσωπικό για την εργασία του και τους πελάτες μας για την επιλογή τους . Απο οτι ξέρετε, μετα απο 23 χρόνια , το εστιατόριο αυτο ειχε γίνει πλέον σαν σπιτι μου και έζησα κάποιες απο της καλύτερες μ αναμνήσεις σε αυτο.
Πολλοί απο σας θα αναρωτηθούν "γιατι". Αλλα νομίζω πως όλοι ξέρουμε την κατάσταση η οποία επικρατεί αυτήν την στιγμή στην Λέσβο. Παρόλα αυτά , οι παραλίες ειναι καθαρές , η μερες ηλιόλουστες και ο κόσμος δεν χάνει την ψυχραιμία του. Και αυτο ειναι καλό .
Έχοντας πει αυτά , σας εύχομαι όλους καλές διακοπές και καλό καλοκαίρι . Και για όσους ακόμα αγωνίζονται καλη σεζόν και να είστε πάντα αισιόδοξοι, οι εποχές θα αλλάξουν.

The Sansibal will be returning to the original opening hours from 17:30 to 11:30 :)

Ειναι πλεον γνωστο σε πολλους απο εμας , το φοβερο ατυχημα που εγινε στο λιμανι την περασμενη Τριτη 13 του μηνος στο εστιατοριο Το τραπεζι του Καπετανιου. Το βραδυ της τριτης μια εκρηξη καταστρεψε το μαγαζι των συναδερφων μας τους οποιους γνωριζουμε,οπως και πολυ αλλοι , εδω και χρονια.Ευτυχως δεν υπηρχαν απωλειες σε ανθρωπινες ζωες, ομως το συμβαν αυτο κατεστρεψε οχι μονο την περιουσια των ιδιοκτητων αλλα και ενα κομματι του μολυβου. Ευχομαστε στους συναδερφους να βρουνε παλι την δυναμη να σινεχισουν καθως και ο Μολυβος και οι κατοικοι του θα βοηθησουμε οπως και οσο μπορουμε.

Most of us are well aware of the tragedy that occurred in the Harbour of molyvos last Thursday 13th of this month.The restaurant ''The captains table'' was completely destroyed by an explosion.In this unfortunate accident there was no loss of human life.But the damage is done and an important piece of molyvos lost in the flames.We wish our best to the owners and as part of the community of molyvos will do our best to support them. The restaurant will be missed.
