Mandag aften kl. 21:00 er Hotel Disko Island vært for en fremvisning af kortfilmen “Shaped by Land” - efterfulgt af et foredrag af filmens hovedperson, Adam Mike Kjeldsen. Filmen følger Adams stræben efter en mere bæredygtig vision for skiturisme i Grønland, forankret i en dyb forbindelse med land, samfund og kultur. Adam er en af de eneste lokale skiguider, der opererer i Grønland, en destination domineret af udenlandske operatører.

It’s been an incredible journey sharing this place with all of you – from the midnight sun to the dancing northern lights.

It’s always a little bittersweet saying goodbye to those magical nights, but the endless golden evenings ahead have their own kind of magic ✨

After four unforgettable nights in magical Qeqertarsuaq, this lovely group is now heading back to Ilulissat — full of laughter, memories, and fresh Arctic air! 🐋 🐕 🧊

Hotel Disko Island consists of five smaller buildings in the center of Qeqertarsuaq 🏠

Together, they contain 20 double rooms and five single rooms with private bath and toilet. It is possible to add an extra bed in four of our double rooms.

This is our “Disko” building - old house of the Chief Merchant.

Breakfast is included in the price and is served in the hotel restaurant, which is also open for dinner during the summer 🍽️
