Hi all,
A very good friend of ours, Bruno Devallee is a French chef. We first met Bruno when he was running a restaurant, here in Grenada. His problems started when he had to go to Europe because of a family medical problem. When he returned he found his rented accommodation had been burgled and much was stolen. The insurance did not pay out as they said he had not sufficient security!! Around this time much of his professional tools were also stolen from his restaurant! To try to make some money he did some chef work on demand for some local yachts, also he worked as a tour guide. But all of this has dried up because of Covid.
We have had him round to us with a few friends, with Bruno cooking some really good meals and we all pay him. Kind of 'restaurant in your own home'. But with Covid and people not wanting to mix, even that we can't do.
So we have produced a video, hopefully the first of many, to try to raise some money for him. This video demonstrates how to cook 'Coq au Vin'.
