We’re looking for an experienced barista to join our team ☕
The role is Saturday – Wednesday, 08:30 – 16:30, although we’re happy to consider part-time hours if the right mix of people apply. Ideally we would like someone with at least 2 year's experience.
We’re a small, independent, family-run cafe and pride ourselves on the atmosphere we’ve created here. We’ve built up a fantastic group of regulars and a real community feel, so great customer service and a genuinely friendly personality are absolutely essential. We want everyone who walks through the door to feel welcome and looked after.
You’ll be our main barista, supported by the rest of the team. Because we’re a small team, the role is varied and also includes serving customers and waiting on tables, so being comfortable chatting with people and keeping things running smoothly on the floor is important.
You’ll also help with opening and closing the cafe, and there’s the opportunity to get involved with food prep if that’s something you enjoy.
We’re a relaxed, supportive bunch and are looking for someone who’ll enjoy being part of a small, close-knit team where everyone helps each other out.
We’re also planning to expand into evening food/events soon and there may be the option to pick up evening shifts if that interests you.
