It’s the season of love and everyone deserves a chocolate treat!

Our Chocolate Bar Making Workshops are enjoying a loving make-over with our Chocolate Love Heart Chocolate Bar Making Workshops!

Can’t remember what chocolate they like?
Can’t agree on the best chocolate bar?
Let them make their own!

We’ve just added some more availability for Saturday 14th February but fear not it’s not just for Valentine’s Day we’re in the chocolate loving mood from now through to the 22nd February!

I mean - we love chocolate every day - 360 days a year but we think you get the point!

It’s National Hot Chocolate Day so we thought we had to share with you the story of our Hot Chocolate

We’re super proud of our hot chocolate because we think it’s incredibly special, made with pure cocoa beans and sugar - that’s it! No added fat, no added alkalis - it’s really pure and so simple to make!

Our recipe was inspired by how chocolate was enjoyed for hundreds of years before industrialisation stripped all the richness away!

And - we think the best bit - while you can use fancy devices - you don’t need to!

It just needs a good whisk with a little hot milk - or your milk preference - make a paste, top up and enjoy!

Because fine quality is simple and ready for you to enjoy however you like it!

Happy Hot Chocolate Day!

But yes - it’s ok to have hot chocolate day every day!

Happy New Year!

We’ve been raising a glassful of chocolate to a fabulous 2026!

Thank you for making 2025 a fantastic year in chocolate making! So many cocoa beans, hot chocolates and chocolate makers joining us in celebration of Cocoa!

We hope your 2026 has got off to a great start! We’re closed today but normal hours resume tomorrow!

It’s Day 1 in the Advent Calendar and the countdown to Christmas.

Today we’re celebrating our favourite milk chocolate, crafted classically creamy and caramel like for the chocolate lover that appreciates private indulgences of milk chocolate!

Our Cocoa Pods are pieces of chocolate moulded in tribute to the fruit that shares with us its amazing seeds for us to transform.

Learn chocolate tempering skills, moulding and building and of course decorating your chocolate masterpiece!

It’s definitely Chocolate Friday today and all weekend - and pretty much every day for the rest of the year!

We’re cracking out the Mince Pies as well as we prepare for the busiest shopping weekend of the year!

Our Mince Pie Caramel is our festive favourite - with a gorgeously fruity mincemeat from it’s full of flavour and free of mince, meat and gluten!

We love it when the chocolate team make a mishap and they’re not good enough to pack! Frustratingly - they’re really good at making them!

We’ve been delighted to welcome students from Doncaster College Patisserie and Confectionery Students joining us at York Cocoa Works today - learning about the chocolate making process, crafting their own chocolate and creating their own chocolate bars!
