I am very much the kind of person that sticks a plant in the ground….if it grows = fantastic and if not, then try something else.
A kind lady dug some of her rhubarb up, by the time I got them, they where pretty wilted and not looking like they will survive and they did look dreadful. Stuck them in various parts of the garden beds to see if they will grow….low and behold, some more successful than others, a few made it! My first ever English Rhubarb☺️
And the Purple Sprouting Broccoli….3 plants survived the slugs and snails! We have been having broccoli for 6 weeks!
And the last pics…I love this side of the garden wall in all it’s pinks and purples this time of year. All different shades and textures and they bloom one after the other, more varieties to bloom so keep the bees pretty happy
