Say hello to Ben… 👋

Owner of The Old Liquor Store.

Ben has been here since day one, opening the doors in July 2023, and has helped shape everything from the menu to the atmosphere you know today.

His go-to order? Oysters, because you can enjoy them in six ways, especially the Brew York beer battered version with hot sauce 🦪🍺

When he’s not in the restaurant, you’ll usually find him on a wine trip or tasting somewhere new, Slovenia was a recent favourite at the end of 2025. Life’s also a little busier at home with a 2-year-old keeping him on his toes.
