A MESSAGE FROM US ❤️
As many of you may now be aware, the news is true — we have made the decision to hand back The Robert Kett.
We want to reassure everyone that we’re not going anywhere just yet. We’ll continue running the pub for the next few months while the formal process takes place, so for now it remains very much business as usual.
Running two pubs over the past year has certainly been a challenge, and after a lot of thought we have decided that the time is right for us to focus our attention on The Half Moon.
The Robert Kett is a fantastic pub with a wonderful team and community behind it, and we genuinely believe it deserves a sole operator who can give it their full attention and continue taking it forward.
We will be incredibly sad when the time comes to leave. We’ve had some brilliant times here, made friendships we know will last well beyond our time at the pub, and have loved being part of so many local events and community occasions.
To our lovely customers, please be reassured that the team you know and love will remain at The Robert Kett. When the time comes, there will simply be a new landlord or landlady at the helm, and we will do everything we can to support a smooth handover.
Until then, we’re still here, the doors are open and there are plenty more memories to be made. ❤️
Thank you, as always, for your support.
Daniel & Daryl
