Drum roll please 🥁

We are really excited to say that due to everyone's amazing efforts we raised £2000 at the weekend for Kent Greyhound Rescue and Repton Community Trust! 👏

A huge thank you to Tom Dixon and his amazing team at The Tickled Trout in Wye for providing a beautiful backdrop for LoftyFest for the third year in a row.

This was our 11th LoftyFest and as we announced we will be taking a break in 2027 and will review then, what we do. Those involved in organising anything like this will know there is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes for months in the lead up to bring everyone a brilliant event, and I think we achieved that again this year. It's definitely time for a break ☺️.

This year was such an overwhelming year having come full circle from where we started in 2016 with the party for the big birthdays in the family. We had amazing support from Ian Ramps Rampton at The Albion where LoftyFest started until he left the pub in 2020 just before COVID hit.

After our online year, we then had a couple of incredible years at The Woolpack in Smeeth with support from David Church and Michelle, before making a natural move over to the Tickled Trout 3 years ago.

This year saw those same amazing people in our family have their next milestone birthdays, and it was incredibly emotional to have most of them there for this special year (those that know me will know I am actually crying now writing this 🤣😥).

Thank you everyone who supported the event, and so sorry if anyone has been missed ❤️.

Final figures are in and our tenth anniversary didn't disappoint! A breathtaking £14,000 raised for the Pilgrims Hospice!!!!!!!! Absolutely magnificent, a huge well done to our riders for going above and beyond to raise money for this great cause 👏

LoftyFest 2026 kicks off tomorrow with some incredible music The Tickled Trout Wye from 6pm.

The purpose of this weekend is to raise money and awareness for 2 amazing local charities Kent Greyhound Rescue and Repton Community Trust, as well as having fun, and appreciating some of the amazing talent we have within our community.

Without our musicians giving up their time to support this event we wouldn't have a LoftyFest, so huge thank you to everyone involved!

We will have a raffle and grid square as well as donation pots available to make a cash, or card donation should you wish to.

We look forward to seeing you all over the weekend, and let's hope this year is as amazing as the last 10 years have been ❤️LoftyFest
