Go big or go home, apparently I took that personally 😂🍸
The Chuckleberry Gin is officially brewing, and yes, that is a normal sized jar at the front for comparison 🤣
I may have slightly underestimated what “making a batch” meant 😂
Now we wait, while those chuckleberries work their boozy little magic 🍇🍸✨
Little Bag of Herbs, subtlety has never really been our thing. 😂

😂☕ Well… Max’s Caravan has found itself a Chief Taster!
I popped into Jubilee Lake Café today to deliver our new Max’s Caravan Tea and got chatting to this lovely gentleman.
He’s travelled all over the place and had some brilliant stories to tell. When I explained the blend Keemun, Lapsang Souchong and Oolong, a rich, smooth tea with a lovely malty depth and just a hint of woodsmoke, it brought back memories of drinking something very similar on his travels many years ago.
Well, obviously I couldn’t let experience like that go to waste. 😂
So I promptly appointed him Chief Taster of Max’s Caravan, no interview, no references and absolutely no salary. 🤣☕️
Thankfully he accepted his new position, tried a cup and loved it!
I’d say that’s a successful first day on the job. ❤️☕️

Well that’s the Apple Exhibition done 🍎🍏
A massive thank you to Billy Beaumont & Dawn for having me, I’ve absolutely loved being part of it ❤️
And a HUGE thank you to Dolly ❤️ my partner in crime, sidekick, helper, carrier of stuff 😂 and the one who gets roped into all my mad ideas and just goes along with it! I honestly couldn’t do half of what I do without her by my side. Everyone needs a Dolly ❤️
And to my lovely friend Nicky Probert-Thompson thank you for all your help, support and laughs too ❤️
It’s been a fab few days, met some lovely people, had lots of laughs and seen enough apples to last me a while 😂🍎🍏
Thank you everyone ❤️

Here’s a little peek at just some of what I’ll be taking along to the Apple Fayre at Lydiard Park.
There will be lots more besides, but I’ve decided I’m not taking the usual suspects this time. I’m keeping the whole lot apple related, 😂🍏
Expect apples mixed with berries, herbs, spices and probably a bit of general wonkiness, Goblin’s Breakfast and The Wonky Goose are just the start.
Can’t show you everything yet though… where’s the fun in that? 😏🍎🌿
See you at the Apple Fayre! 🍏🍎

🌿 A little bit about our tea bags… because apparently I don’t like making life easy for myself 😂🫖
When you buy tea bags from Little Bag of Herbs, they haven’t come off some big production line already filled.
Nope… every single one is filled by hand, by me. 😂 One. Tea. Bag. At. A. Time.
And because I’m me, I’m fussy about the actual bags too! They’re made here in the UK from sustainably managed forestry, are unbleached, completely plastic-free, biodegradable and home compostable, with a natural cotton drawstring. 🌱
So no chlorine, no nasty plastics and no unnecessary rubbish heading to landfill.
Just proper tea, in a proper little bag, filled by yours truly.
It may take me forever, and I generally end up wearing half the tea… but that’s the joy of a small business. 😂🌿
Hand blended. Hand filled. Made with care.

Well this has absolutely made my day 🥰🫐
Our Chuckleberry Jam went off to the Bluegrass Festival last weekend.
A customer asked Goody’s for marmalade, which they didn’t have… but luckily they had a little stash of our Chuckleberry Jam, which they also use in their cakes. He gave it a try and apparently said it was “the best jam he had ever had!” 🥹❤️
If you’ve never heard of chuckleberries, they’re a lovely mix of redcurrants, blackcurrants, gooseberries and jostaberries — sweet, sharp and absolutely gorgeous made into jam.
And I have to give a big shout-out to Dolly, who pretty much turned this into our little famous jam, even presenting a jar to the Prince! 👑😂 Who knew when I first made it where one little jar of jam would end up!
Hand on heart, comments like this genuinely make my tail feathers fluff up 🪶❤️
Chuckleberry Jam… from my little kitchen to royalty, and now converting marmalade lovers at the Bluegrass festival 😂

🍊🐻 Auntie Lucy has been busy… 🐻🍊
A little Paddington-inspired marmalade has made its way into the Little Bag of Herbs kitchen ❤️
Auntie Lucy’s Orange Marmalade with a hint of cinnamon, because we all know a certain little bear would never leave home without an emergency supply. 😂
Perfect for toast, crumpets, sandwiches or keeping under your hat for marmalade emergencies. 😉🍊
