Whether you're looking for a quick coffee, a nice breakfast, or a relaxing afternoon tea, Honey's is the best bakery café has to offer to meet your needs. Honey’s Bakery was built in Year 2016 after nine months battle for planning permission. In march 2015, planning permission was finally granted unanimously by vote at the second committee meeting. Honey’s Bakery is situated in the Caergwrle villa
ge, overlooking the picturesque River Alyn and green field, and has ample parking and disabled access. The interior is basked in light, which pours in from large bays windows and allowing for a clear view of the amazing scenery outside. The lovely outdoor terrace area, sheltered by retractable awnings, allowing for drinking and eating all year-round. The bakery is hidden away at the back of the Bridge Inn Oriental Restaurant, is a tranquil retreat from the busy world. The café is dog-friendly (Terrace area), and also becoming increasingly popular with cyclists, walkers and bikers. The small neighbourhood bakery makes sourdough breads, freshly baked oriental filled buns and patisseries. Upon a little success, customers began to ask for sandwiches made with homemade bread, followed by homemade scone, teacake, soup, energy boosting toasts, and breakfast. The guests’ requests continued to inspire the café menu and business grew. Honey’s Bakery pride itself on unique menus, quality and freshness of products using finest ingredients and customer satisfaction. Only eight months into opening the business, Honey’s Bakery is delighted to have won gold award for blueberry and cream cheese bun and bronze award for white crusty loaf. The first ever recognition award will spur Honey’s to continue to improve.
