If Keir Starmer had said before the election that he would remove the winter fuel allowance from millions of pensioners, hammer the disabled with welfare cuts, add inheritance tax to family farms and family businesses causing thousands of them to close, his deputy prime minister dodging £40,000 in tax, council tax & energy price increases, raise university tuition fees, plaster mass-scale solar panels on thousands of acres of prime farmland despite huge local community objections, hand over sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius at a cost of £35bn, spaff £30bn of taxpayers’ money on carbon capture machines, give £3bn a year of taxpayers’ money to Ukraine, betray WASPI women, hang out with BlackRock, 50,000 small boat crossings in one year when he categorically said he was going to stop migrants (his words not mine I create prefer to use the correct term ILLEGALS) a new £50bn economic black hole, increase the overall tax burden to record levels, destroy business growth with national insurance rises resulting in over 200,000 job losses, get exposed for receiving over £100,000 worth of freebies he almost certainly WOULDN’T have won!

He duped the electorate.
An utterly shameless display of snake oil political salesmanship and still he lectures all of us in that gratingly sanctimonious manner of his like we are all somehow the problem here.
In my opinion:
He’s useless/ gutless/ incompetent/ a complete liar who doesn’t deserve or understand the position he holds. He’s hated by most of the electorate, his decisions and appointments are not in the countries interests.
If he had any morals, he would resign, but he won't , and I hate to say it but there’s nobody in that party that could make a difference if he did. Under this government our Country is in a right mess and both him and The Labour Party need to be removed as a matter of urgency before the damage they are doing to our Country is beyond repair

Hi everyone, we are very sad to announce the end of our Breakfast menu effective from Monday 4th August 2025. The cost of our Energy and food price inflation coupled with operating cost increases across the piece, has made our cooked to order breakfast using top quality ingredients cost prohibitive and thus un-sustainable.

We will continue with our lunch brunch menu and Friday night offerings as advertised. Our new opening hours will be from 11.00AM to 4PM Wednesday through to Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday.
Friday nights from 5PM until close.

We sincerely apologise for the problem this may cause for some of our regulars but, there is no other options as I am sure you will understand, given the current climate prevailing in the hospitality/food sector.

We will keep you updated personally and by FB as things move forward.

When our new sign is alight we are open! Don't forget we are open tonight from 5PM. For food and drinks, it's cooler in here thanks to our portable A/C unit which is working FAB.
