It’s no secret that owning a restaurant is hard work and high stress. But we also need to talk about the days which make it worth it, and moments like this are what it’s all about.

Grace (with her parents!) has been one of our youngest guests since she was tiny. Fearless when faced with any menu, she loves great food almost as much as she loves taking photographs, and has captured our whole history on her trusty instax camera over the years.

So it was my absolute joy to let her join in taking some shots of brunch today! As you can see from the photos she took of our new Reuben inspired sandwich, she has a natural eye for this!

Thank you to Grace for these fantastic photos, we love them! And thank you to Tom and Sharon for raising an excellent human, and for being part of the fabric of Tern. The next generation will be ok with kids like this in charge❤️

🍷 CELLAR DOOR 🚪

For months, Radu has been squirrelling away bottles for a very special English wine dinner as part of Worthing Wine Week.

A personal tour of some of the most diverse and unusual wines produced in the UK. A secret Cellar, full of unusual pours, hard-to-find bottles, and wines with real personality and sense of place.

On Thursday 25 June, we’ll be opening them with you.

Five wines paired with five hyperseasonal courses from Johnny and the team, exploring the diversity and real scope of the English wine scene beyond expectation, cliché or compromise.

Hosted by our very own Radu Iosif, who is a WineGB Ambassador, the night will be a celebration of growers, makers, and landscapes. And we’re excited to share with you the idea that some of the most exciting wines in the world are now being made much closer to home than people realise.
