We’re aware of a video currently circulating on social media showing an incident that took place outside the pub this evening.

We just wanted to clarify that the individuals involved were not customers of the pub, had not been drinking with us, and did not enter our premises.

The incident happened outside and was completely unrelated to the pub or anything taking place inside.

We’re only posting this clarification as the location is visible in the video and we don’t want there to be any misunderstanding or speculation about the pub’s involvement.

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Part-Time Bar Staff Member to join our team at The Observatory! ❤️

We’re looking for someone who is:

✨ Friendly, confident & great with customers
🍺 Happy working in a busy pub environment
🙌 Reliable and able to work as part of a team
🌙 Available for a mixture of evenings & weekends
🎉 Comfortable working during events and busy nights

Applicants must be aged 18 or over.

Previous bar experience would be great, but it’s not essential for the right person as training can be provided.

Part-time hours with shifts to be discussed.

❤️⚽ WHAT AN AMAZING DAY! ⚽❤️

What a fantastic day we had at The Observatory on Saturday raising money for Worle Juniors U12s — and we’re absolutely delighted to say an incredible OVER £2,000 WAS RAISED! 🎉🙌

A massive thank you to everyone who helped make the day happen, from all the organising and preparation beforehand to everyone who helped set up, ran stalls, sold raffle tickets and got stuck in on the day. It was a brilliant team effort and the result speaks for itself! ❤️

A HUGE thank you also to all the amazing local businesses and individuals who generously donated raffle prizes. We had some fantastic prizes and really appreciate every single donation.

A huge thank you also to all of the fantastic stallholders who joined us on the day and supported the fundraiser ❤️

Special thanks to Matttys Street Food for keeping everyone fed 🍔 and Ezzy Ice Creams for the ice creams 🍦 and for supporting the fundraiser.

And finally, thank you to everyone who came along, bought raffle tickets, joined in and supported the boys. Over £2,000 raised is an amazing result! ❤️⚽

Unfortunately, due to the weather forecast for tomorrow and, most importantly, the safety of everyone attending, our stallholders and those running the outdoor activities, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone tomorrow’s fundraiser.
