These are not just any old crumpets, these are homemade sourdough crumpets made by Me 🤩😇 because I had lots of sourdough discard and hate wasting it. I love them@with lashings of butter so it drips down my chin. Would you want to eat these immediately? How do you like your crumpets?

Lovely ladies luncheon today for a fabulous 95 year old lady. Asparagus and cheese tartlet, baked salmon with basil and crispy fish skin pickled cucumber roast vine tomatoes and dill crème fraiche alongside tenderstem, fine bean, chicory and fennel salad with a tahini dressing. All finished off with a lemon posset with berries. Cake wasn’t by me but it was very pretty and simple.

A small works party Thursday at the rowing club offering chilli burgers and nachos. A canapé party for 140 on Friday a lot of canapés served and everything is homemade. An incredibly time consuming job but always so well received. Then a buffet party with canapés hot main and desserts on Saturday lunchtime at a house with a view in Malvern. That’s it for this year, next jobs are in for New Year’s Day and first weekend of Jan. In the meantime I’ll be sipping on something delicious and just chilling with hubby 🥂💕.

Last weekend we catered a lovely 21st birthday in Malvern. The candlelight made the room feel very festive and cosy. Canapés with drinks and then a simple but delicious lasagne with salads and focaccia bread and to finish a selection of little desserts - all Mediterranean style.

Today was a beautiful quintessential English summers day buffet. Brunch style theme -dressed salmon, home cooked ham, homemade quiche, eggs mayonnaise, smoked salmon bagels, two salads and breads. All finished off with a fresh fruit platter and local strawberries with a small cheeseboard. The doggo was an extra bonus - Otto - he was gorgeous and so well behaved but he did have his eye on my ham 🤣
