The pumpkin patch is taking it’s toll on me this week! 🤪
It’s been awhile since I’ve come on for an offloading yap. How’s everyone else doing now we are heading into October?

Our pumpkin patch opens this Sunday, which means we are all hands-on debt getting the patch ready to welcome visitors. We have the New Edition of a Coffee Machine in The Thirsty Farmer horsebox trailer bar so we are having a play around with that, and we’ll also be serving pizzas up at the pumpkin patch at weekends. But for now, we need to finish building the pig pen, and setting up all the photo backdrops. It’s going to be a busy end of the week! 🎃

🥛 NEW MILK ROUND INCOMING… could we be heading your way?! 🚚🐄

We’re looking at adding a brand new route to our Bennetts Farms Milk Round — opening up doorstep deliveries to a whole new patch! 🙌

📍 Welland → Hanley Swan → Hanley Castle → Upton upon Severn → Holly Green → Earl’s Croome → Severn Stoke (Clifton)

But we need to know there are enough of you who want us first! 👀

Rather than immediately finding another milkman (let’s not get carried away just yet 😂), we’re going to start this route a little differently.

🥛 ONE delivery a week to start with – Wednesdays
🚚 Delivered during the daytime to start with
🧊 You’ll need to leave a cool bag/box out for us

We’ll start slowly using our existing electric vans and drivers and, if enough of you sign up to make the round work, the plan would be to eventually move to our usual twice-weekly Wednesday & Saturday morning deliveries.

And then I suppose I’d better start looking for another driver… 😂

An authentic farm cafe experience is about more than rustic tables and a few pictures of cows on the wall.

At Bennetts Willow Barn, you’re eating on our actual working farm, surrounded by the people, animals and produce that make it what it is.

We make our own sausage, bacon, ham, milk and cream, and we rear our own beef and pork too. So when we say farm to fork, we really do mean it.

You might see the cows out grazing that produced the milk in your coffee, watch a tractor go by while you eat, or leave with something delicious from the farm shop for your Sunday roast.

Muddy boots, children, dogs and the occasional bit of farm chaos are all very welcome. 🐄🚜🐾

Come for breakfast, stay for the views and leave with a little taste of the farm. 🤍

🌸 Dahlia season won’t be around for much longer… 🌸

As we head towards the end of September, we’re getting closer to saying goodbye to the dahlias for another year 😭 And they are looking SO beautiful right now.

So, if you’ve been meaning to come and pick your own bunch, this is your sign! ✂️🌸

And because the weather is looking absolutely gorgeous on Thursday, I’ve added ONE LAST EVENING PYO session from 5.30–6.30pm ☀️

There’s something really lovely about wandering through the flowers at the end of the day. Come and switch off from the hustle and bustle for an hour, choose your favourites and head home with an armful of gorgeous dahlias. 🥰
