🥵 HOT WEATHER UPDATE 🥵

Well… it looks like we’re in for a very warm week! ☀️

Our farm cafe will be open as usual every day from 9.30am - 3.30pm, but we wanted to give everyone a quick update on how we’ll be operating during the heatwave.

Our plan is to serve our normal menu as usual until around 12pm each day. After that, we’ll see how the team are coping, but it’s very likely that we’ll need to switch the ovens off in the kitchen to help keep our staff safe and comfortable. It gets incredibly hot in there at the best of times, and with temperatures set to soar this week, I don’t want to put our team at risk.

This means that some cooked items, such as sausages and other oven-cooked dishes, may not be available after midday.

Don’t worry though – we’ll still be serving plenty of favourites including paninis, toasties & our incredible Ploughmans and other lighter options as normal, with food orders available until 2.30pm.

We’d really appreciate your understanding. My team will be working incredibly hard in some very challenging temperatures, and this small adjustment will make a huge difference to them ❤️

❄️ KEEP COOL IN THE BARN ❄️

On Monday and Tuesday, our air-conditioned barn will be available for café customers to use, and the team will happily serve your food and drinks in there as an extension to our usual cafe areas.

On Wednesday, the barn will be home to Lydia Eleanor Anne Healy and on Thursday, YogaBellies Worcestershire will be making the most of the air conditioning too! If you’d like to join them and stay cool, make sure you’re booked onto their classes 😉.

To encourage a few early birds this week, we’re offering a FREE hot drink with every cooked breakfast ordered before 10.30am.

10 years married wrapped up in a big adventure ❤️

This year, we did something we’ve talked about for years—we left behind the chaos of everyday life, stepped away from our five businesses, kissed the kids goodbye, and headed off on the trip of a lifetime to Egypt.

Standing in front of the pyramids and exploring ancient temples has been on our bucket list for as long as we can remember, and it somehow exceeded every expectation.

Was it hard leaving everything behind? Absolutely.

As parents and business owners, there is always a reason not to go. There is always another responsibility, another commitment, another thing demanding your attention.

But this trip reminded us that life isn’t just about building businesses and ticking off tasks. It’s about creating memories, nurturing relationships, and experiencing the things you’ve always dreamed of doing.

The businesses have survived.
The kids have had an absolute blast with Granny & Grandad.
The world kept turning.
And we have come home with memories we’ll treasure forever.

A huge thank you to Granny and Grandad for looking after our children for the week and giving us the opportunity to celebrate this milestone together ❤️

Life is for living, and sometimes you have to be brave enough to make the time for what truly matters.
