IT IS WITH THE GREATEST REGRAT THAT THE OLIVE GROVE CAFE IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
As it was Cherry Lanes wish to take over the restaurant premise, and open there own coffee shop restaurant in its place, it left us with no option but to close The Olive Grove Cafes' doors for the finial time .
From myself and my team, I would like to wish all our loyal patriots a heartfelt goodbye and we thank you for all the fun, smiles and support you have given us over the past 13 years.

However, as one door closes, another will always open.

We would like to introduce you to the next big chapter.

⭐ Weekend Job ⭐

We are looking for TWO super start 🌟 weekend waitresses/waiters to work alongside our friendly team at The Olive Grove Cafe.
Av 17 hours split over Saturday & Sunday (+ Bank Holidays) between 9.00am -4.30/5.00pm.
Extra hours will be available during our busy period, half terms, summer holidays and to cover staff holidays.
You MUST be able to work in a very busy cafe/restaurant environment and be use to table service. Your duties will include serving and seating customer, taking payments, using an espresso coffee machine (training will be given), taking food orders, taking food out, cleaning tables and other general tasks.
You must be flexible, reliable and well presented.
Please only apply if you are able to work BOTH the Saturday & Sunday plus Bank Holidays.

We are looking for chefs who have a genuine passion for food, who can multi-task, perform better under pressure and have a keen eye for detail to work in your newly renovated cafe restaurant (as of January 2022) The successful applicant will also have had experience working in a busy environment.

The Role-
• A great work life balance (no evening shifts)
• Assisting in the food preparation process
• Assisting other Chefs
• The ability to run a kitchen in the absents of the head chef.
• You will have input to menus and purchasing
• Assisting with stock rotation cleaning stations
• Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
• Deliver great quality food that is picture perfect every time
• Work as part of a team to deliver a service that is quick and efficient.
• Take pride in your work ensuring your environment stays clean, safe and legal.
• Comply with food safety procedures completing daily due diligence paper work
• *Experience in cake baking would be an advantage*
• Excellent customer service ethic with a passion for results

You will need-
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Level 1 and 2 Food Safety Awards
• Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety
• Experience of dangerous equipment such as knives
• Ability to produce good quality basic food
• Team management skills
• Positive and approachable manner
• Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work
• Understanding of basic food hygiene practices
• Team player qualities

📣 We're Back Open Folks 📣
Grand Opening Monday 17th January!!

So after 2 long weeks of completely gutting the restaurant, painting, new lighting, new counter, building, cleaning up the mess, building the new furniture then taking the new furniture apart and re- building them using the instructions 🤦🏻‍♀️ the restaurant renovations are finally finished 🤗🥳
