For some crazy reason Iveta has decided to ditch working for a couple of years and go travel the world instead of doing her ruddy job at Hash. Selfish I say.......
Anyhow, this leaves us with a full time barista position to fill. It's a key position. It's not just coffee! We get extremely busy and we need a cool head to organise the entire drinks offering. Coffee, iced teas, matcha, homemeade soft drinks, cocktails, wine etc etc.
We have a part time barista in Becki who will do 2 days per week but we need the other 5 days covering. Very much a full-time role.
We have a great reputation in the city and Hash has a delightful clientele with a large number of "regulars" that enjoy the laid back but highly organised atmosphere.
It's hard work at times. A lot of responsibility rests with the barista whilst everyone else does their own thing during service. You must be able to handle some pressure whilst producing great drinks hour after hour!
BUT......
You're unlikely to work after 4.30pm. It's a good mob of people you're working with who have oodles of hospitality experience. Whilst the ability to work weekends is important we can always cut-it that you get some weekend days off periodically and you'll get discounted grub, a pension in place that Hash contribute to and ALL tips are divided equally amongst staff as aa reflection of the number of hours worked that week.
You will have previous barista work experience please!! It's key that you know something of the work and that you take some pride in it. I really only want people that ENJOY the job they'll be doing.
