June 8th 2026 update.
I would like to take this opportunity to let those that don’t already know, I (Mel) will not be taking on the new Beachcomber.
After a great deal of thought and consideration, I feel it’s the right decision for myself , and the new Beachcomber.
It has been a really tough decision and one that probably was the hardest to make.
The first six years I was fortunate to have one of my best friends as a business partner- Suzie Parkin. It’s Suzie you all need to thank for the amazing food and making this along with the team the best Cafe 🥰
I wish the new tenants a wonderful future and hope they have as much fun running this most amazing new Cafe as I did the old one!
As of now, I really don’t know when or who will take on the business, but assured it will be an amazing opportunity in the new building.
I will of course, try and update if there is any news.
A massive Thank you to everyone past and present who made the Cafe such a special experience, and place to visit, especially the amazing team and loyal customers. ❤️
