Melrose cafe family run café serving fantastic homemade food at great prices. we also offer gluten free products We also offer takeaways with takeaway prices.

We use local ingredients and try to make everything ourselves where possible. we serve breakfasts from 9am till 11.30 specials from 11.30am and main menu all day. We are the cheapest in Woodhall spa but hopefully the best tasting food. We have a good selection of vegetarian meals and gluten free items on offer. A friendly fun atmosphere and great service

A lovely cosy space for winter and for dogs and their owners to enjoy a pitstop.

Cctv covering all areas has been installed and have to say its looks pretty dam good out there 🤩

Advanced notice

We will be closing on Friday 5th Sept at 3pm and reopen at 9am Tuesday 23rd Sept.

Due to staff shortages we will have to now close Saturday 6th of September . We apologise for the inconvenience but have no way round it.

We will then be closed for our planned 2 weeks holiday.

We will reopen Tuesday 23rd Sept but not till 9am instead of 8am.

Sorry for any inconvenience and we look forward to seeing you when we get back.
We won't be able to return and messages or answer any questions while away.

We are hiring
Saturday and holiday staff required.
Must be 15+ be able to work every Saturday and help out in holidays.
This would be taking orders serving customers Making drinks, clearing tables and cleaning.

Would suit someone local for flexible holiday hours.
Would Need to be great with people and hard working and able to work as part of a team in a fast paced but small working environment.
Training would be given during the week while on summer holidays.

The new patio area is up and running properly again with new umbrella stands purchased and more umbrellas ordered!! We don't need a repeat of last week's theft ! But thank you to all the amazing comments and offers of help thank you, you are amazing customers.

Just a note that the outside area is still a working progress with the addition of some gorgeous fencing the landlord has designed being installed hopefully in the next 2 weeks. This will transform the area even more. He's also started a path at the back for us to help people get in much easier with wheel chairs scooters pushchairs etc. This is a much needed renovation happening and we are very grateful and excited.

So pop along and enjoy the outside area and please bear with us until the fence is installed and maybe nearer winter we could look at investing in a new smart outside cover.

We are open Tuesday to Friday 8am till 3.30
And Saturdays 9am to 3.30pm.

Breakfast served till 11.30.
We serve a selection of homemade specials changing daily
All our cakes and desserts are made right here on the premises. A huge selection of gluten free cakes and gluten free menu items.

We may not do the most fancy food and drinks but we do try our best to serve great homemade food at good prices and with friendly table service.
We use quality premium ingredients and keep the consistency of food and service high.

Inside seating always available. Dogs are welcome (and spoilt ) in the outside area only.

Our outside seating area is now closed. The renovation work has started earlier than expected so we apologise for any inconvenience.
We are however open as usual inside.
We are open until 3pm today and tomorrow and then closing on Friday at 2pm for 2 weeks.

Advanced notice
We will be closed from 2pm Friday 30th may and re open on Tuesday 17th June .

Our new landlord is doing some major improvements to our outside area. So to help this happen smoothly we will close for 2 weeks and take this opportunity to have a rest and a break ourselves .
We are very excited about the new improvements and we will look forward to welcoming you back .

We are aiming to be open on Tuesday 17th but we will keep you posted if this has to change for any unforeseen reasons.
