Hi everyone
We hope that you are all keeping safe & well and are enjoying getting back to some form of normality. It’s been such a long time for all of us.
Most of you probably met mine and Hayley’s dad, Jim. He was in the tearoom all the time! Recently we sadly lost our dad and unfortunately, as a result of this we won’t be reopening.
The tearoom is something we all did together and we don’t feel that we want to continue that journey without him here.
We can’t thank each of you enough for the way you have supported us over the years and we’ve certainly made some friends for life.
We will miss all of you so very much and hope to keep in touch with you.

An important notice for all of our wonderful customers.

Your support during several lockdowns has been so heart warming and overwhelming. We can never thank you enough! We have seen people laugh, we have seen people cry and we’re so grateful that we could brighten up your days with our afternoon tea boxes.

As most of you know I have an 11 year old at home and his SATs exams have now been cancelled - meaning all of the work we do at home will be graded. Because most of our products are home-baked with love, we need to postpone afternoon tea boxes for a while. Our main priority at the moment needs to be home schooling.

All afternoon teas that are already booked will still go ahead but we will not be taking any more bookings for the future until further notice.

This festive season, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who have made our success possible.
Let's hope that in 2021 we can try and get back to the way things were.

Thank you to all those who have supported us through these really tough times ❤️
We are not able to take any more orders for afternoon teas now until the new year due to such an amazing response from you lovely lot 😊.
Its been such an emotional rollercoater making those surprise deliveries to your loved ones, just the look on their faces 😢, Ive had tears, stories of happiness and sadness, laughs, and most of all just spreading a little love and happiness in this awful situation we find ourselves in right now❤️💙.

As most of you are aware every penny of the tips we receive at Country Cuppa are donated to jdrf (juvenile diabetes research foundation) hoping that one day a cure for type one diabetes will be available, no more injections, weighing food, counting carbohydrates and finger pricking to constantly check blood glucose levels. My Son Jack, who was diagnosed age 4, now 10 as even asked for a cure on his christmas list 😢.
Until then, we will continue to do as much as we possibly can to support this wonderful charity. This year has been especially tough, as by now we would of been able to donate much more from our tips and raffles.
Our wonderful ladies at DME Fitness have very kindly raised money through various raffles and have donated £250!!! which has been doubled by to £500. I am so overwhelmed by there kindness, always thinking of others in need. Love you all very much 😘😘###
