And so it begins........the first of the Christmas cakes baked

Some of you may have noticed that I actually left the tearoom during opening hours last Friday 😱😂
I was very privileged to have been asked to be one of the guest judges for the Fairtrade bake off, by the bakery course at Wolverhampton College
There were many delicious cakes to sample, I was thoroughly stuffed when I left, and the talent amongst the group was obvious.
Thank you to Jools and the college for inviting me

9 years ago today I opened these doors for the first time, certainly not expecting to be here 9 years on; through a pandemic and everything else the last 9 years has thrown at us. After all, I'd never run a business and will still happily tell you I have no clue what I'm doing. But now my shelves are packed full of little things that have been brought to me over those years by many of you who saw something and thought of me.

So thank you all, customers and my wonderful staff, for your support, for putting up with my weirdness, for coming back and for building up the wonderful Community that is now K Teas Cakes. You give me a reason to get up and keep doing this, however badly I muddle through some days 🤣

Profuse apologies for the c bomb I'm about to drop (not that one!!), you all know I don't like to mention it before Halloween.
However it is now that time of year that I have to bake Christmas cakes (again, sorry!). So if you would like one for yourselves, for family or friends then now is the time to get your order in.
