Join us this Wednesday 27th for a night of art, community and beer. We will be hosting our first ever art exhibition. A local artist has been commissioned to paint the historical pubs of Wokingham and we have been lucky enough to be the hosting venue. Come down, the art will be available for purchase so pop in if you’re keen!

Wednesday 23rd of September from 7pm we will be hosting an evening a little different to most. Earlier on in the year Wokingham society commissioned an artist by the name of Mohan Banerji to Paint all the historical Wokingham pubs. On Wednesday The Ship Inn will be hosting an exhibition for the artwork to be displayed and purchased by our local community.
Come for the art, the beer, the people and the beer 😉...

Pints & Places – Portraits of Wokingham’s Pubs
Wednesday 23 September 2026 | 7pm The Ship Inn, Wokingham

The Wokingham Society has given a grant to local artist Mohan Banerji to create a collection of original paintings celebrating Wokingham’s historic pubs.

You are welcome to come along to an exhibition held at The Ship Inn (one of the featured pubs) to celebrate the character, heritage, and community spirit of these much-loved local landmarks. The original paintings will be auctioned on the evening with Mohan donating the proceeds to Wokingham in Need.
