We’ve got lots to look forward to this September, with some of your favourite Little Ferns sessions returning alongside something SUPER special! 🕷️✨

☕️ Sunday 6th · 9:30am – Dads Club
A relaxed Sunday morning play session for dads and little ones.

🤍 Tuesday 8th · 8pm – Meet Your Village
An evening for expectant and new mums to meet, chat and find their village.

🕷️ Sunday 13th · 9:30am & 11:30am – Superhero Sunday with Spider-Man
Dress as your favourite superhero and join Spider-Man for a super-powered morning of play, crafts and exciting missions! 🦸‍♂️💥

🎶 Wednesday 16th & 30th · 11:30am – Rhyme Time
Songs, stories and plenty of giggles! Rhyme Time will now be running fortnightly at Little Ferns.

📚🪩 Tuesday 22nd · 9:30am & 11:30am – Books & Boogie
Our much-loved Books & Boogie sessions are back for more stories, music and movement!

We’re so excited to be welcoming Books & Boogie back to Little Ferns this September! 🧡

These sessions are always so popular and have become a much-loved favourite, so we couldn’t wait to get another date in the diary! 📚💃

📅 Tuesday 22nd September

🎟️ £14 per child

Enjoy 45 minutes of Books & Boogie filled with stories, music, movement and plenty of fun, followed by stay & play at Little Ferns 🌿

Spaces are limited and these sessions tend to fill quickly, so book early to avoid missing out!

A little appeal to our lovely customers 🤍

For some reason, we’ve suddenly lost 22 of our Google reviews 😭 and we have absolutely no idea where they’ve gone!

Reviews make such a huge difference to a little business like ours, helping new families find us and giving them the confidence to come and visit.

🤍 EVERY FRIDAY AT LITTLE FERNS! 🤍

I’m so pleased to announce that from September, we’ll be running 3 play sessions every single Friday! 🌿

We currently only run sessions on two Fridays a month and this is something lots of you have been asking for.

It means even more choice when planning your Little Ferns play dates and another full day each week to come and play, grab a coffee and catch up 🤍

We hope to see lots of familiar faces (and some new ones!) on Fridays over the coming months🌿

We’re looking for a friendly, confident and reliable person to join our Little Ferns team! 🤍

Hours:
🌿 Saturday & Sunday, every other weekend
🌿 Opportunity for additional Monday–Friday hours

Please only apply if you are able to commit to working the full weekend (Saturday & Sunday) every other week.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a minimum of 5 years’ customer service experience
• Is confident working independently and able to run play sessions and the café solo
• Is warm, welcoming and great with both children and adults
• Is reliable, organised and happy working in a busy environment
• Childcare experience and/or barista training would be a bonus, but isn’t essential

🤍 A Little Reminder 🤍

As a small independent business, every purchase from our café helps us keep Little Ferns the welcoming space it is for local families.

While our play admissions cover part of the experience, they simply aren’t enough to cover the costs of running Little Ferns. Our café plays a huge part in allowing us to keep creating a beautiful space, hosting community events and keeping our play sessions as affordable as possible.

We kindly ask that food and drinks aren’t brought in from elsewhere. We completely understand that little ones need snacks and we’re always happy for that when you’re also supporting our café.

We’ve got plenty to choose from, including freshly baked pastries, homemade cakes, fruit, toast with a choice of spreads, lunch options for both adults and little ones, lots of snacks and of course, great coffee.

We know family days out can be expensive, so we’ve made a conscious effort to keep our café menu reasonably priced while still offering high-quality food and drinks.

We’re always looking for ways to improve our menu too, so if there’s anything you’d love to see us offer, please let us know! Pop your suggestions in the comments or send us a DM – we’d love to hear your ideas. 🤍

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who already supports our café during your visits. Whether it’s a coffee, a pastry, lunch or a slice of cake, every purchase genuinely makes a difference and helps keep Little Ferns here for our wonderful community. Your support means more than you know. 🤍
