We REALLY enjoyed the atmosphere for the first England game last week. So, we’re opening a day earlier than normal this week and showing the game in all the rooms this Tuesday too.

Our friend Daniel Butterfield will be DJing some of his beautiful vinyl collection in the Tavern tonight from 8pm.
Expect some reggae, ska, and maybe even some soul and other very cool vintage beats.

Just in time for more nice weather 🌞
We’ve now got the brilliant The Cotswold Cider Co Cotswold Prime cider on tap…!

It’s a deliciously balanced, medium dry cider of 4.6% abv. And it really does have that wonderfully real cider flavour, aroma and feel.
Takes you back to the days before super mass production.
We open today from 12pm. So come and grab a pint over the weekend and soak up the sun in our cute and cosy barn yard.

This week, we open at 4pm on Wednesday as usual, but from 9pm we’re showing the England game in all 3 rooms. So come down nice and early to get a seat.
Thursday, it’s 1/2 Price Wine & Prosecco as usual. Friday & Saturday, we open at 12 for pub lunch to 3pm and then drinks until late.
Sunday, we’re fully booked for Father’s Day Roasts, but you can grab a drink anyway, and from 7pm, one of our favourite dads, Mr Paul Chandler, is leaving his veg patch and heading to the pub to host his fabulous Monthly Quiz from 7pm.
Only £2 per player for teams up to 6 people.
£40 bar tab on us for the winning team, plus the Play Your Cards Right bonus round that anyone could win. With all proceeds going to MacMillan 👍🏼

Good Morning, hope you’re having a great week. It’s 1/2 Price Wine & Prosecco today (Thursday) from 4pm.
Friday & Saturday at 12 for pre-Witney Music Festival lunch.
Then, on Sunday, it’s our last Sunday Roast (Father’s Day is fully booked) before the summer break.

Tyler is taking the 28th off, before returning with a new Sunday menu for the rest of the summertime.

So, if you’d like one last roast before September, send us a message now. We currently have 6 tables left to fill.

Really great atmosphere at the Tavern last night for live music by & for 🧡

Thank You to All the performers and Everyone that came!

My cousin who now lives in California was over for the first time in 13 years, and brought his family for their first Witney experience.

They absolutely loved it. Tyler’s roast in the afternoon and live music in the evening, in a cosy pub that was established before their country was..!
It’s crazy when you think about it.

Anyway, it was a fab weekend and we hope you all have a super week ahead.

Hello All, we open today (Thursday) at 4 for 1/2 price wine & fizz as usual, but this Sunday’s Monthly Open Mic night has a very special “take-over”… 👏🏼

They have kindly provided 2 fantastic acts for us all to enjoy:

skint, country music without the o! council estate folk-punk, songs about missing bin day, running out of loo roll, and living in a mould filled home!

And

Bonnie & the Barstars are a 4 piece band of local country loving musicians bringing you old classic covers and ballads. From Johnny Cash to Hank Williams, they will be sure to ease you of your blues.

It’s Free Entry as usual and the show starts after 7pm.

So, come along, hear something new and support live music too. Always a good thing to do.
