Thank you so much to everyone who left such kind and supportive comments on our recent post about the uncollected Just Eat order! We love being part of such a caring community, and we always try our best to do right by our customers here at Linda's Cafe.
We also wanted to quickly clear up a concern raised in some of the comments regarding the phone number visible in the photo. We completely understand why people were looking out for privacy, but please be reassured that the number shown on Just Eat receipts is a temporary, auto-generated Just Eat proxy line—it is not the customer's personal phone number.
These virtual numbers expire automatically once an order is complete, so no private contact details or personal phone numbers were ever exposed or shared.
Our only intention was to try to locate the customer so we could ensure he received his full refund. We would never want to cause anyone harm or compromise anyone's privacy. Thanks again to everyone for looking out for one another and for showing so much kindness 😍
