I did it!!! 💍🍰

3.5 solid days in the kitchen, 1kg of carrots, 10 bags of icing sugar, several meltdowns (me not the cake!), 2 hours in the car, 34 degrees heatwave, air con on max, nearly 100 miles of travel and she made it!

Erin and Rory’s wedding cake made it in 1 piece! Well 3 actually, she was stacked and finished on top of a filing cabinet at the venue. Not conventional but we made it work.

Such a beautiful wedding that I was proud to be a part of.

Wishing you both a lifetime as sweet as your wedding cake, filled with love, laughter and plenty of happy layers! 🩷

I’m back from a weekend away. 😔 Now it’s time to focus on lots of family things, things will be quiet at Carrie on Baking for the rest of the summer. It’s all about getting ready for Secondary School, Weddings and decorating. I did have time for this beauty before I went though. 💖

It’s a quiet week here at Carrie on Baking. The weather is co-operating but there will still be no Shed or Pop Up on Friday as it’s my boys last week at Primary School. We are busy doing lots of different school activities. I won’t be making cupcakes for enterprise day anymore. Lots of last’s this week! 🥹

There will not be a Shed this week again due to the heat. I’m thinking of doing something different for collection. I found this photo the other day and haven’t made these for years, literally! So…. This Friday there will be fresh cream buns for collection. Boxes of 4. Also available without cream. Comment below or drop me a message if you’d like to reserve a box. 💖 £12 for 4 with cream. £10 without.
