The Secret Garden Touring park was established in 2010 in the grounds of a secluded and private 2-acre garden, developed specifically over the past 11 years to attract a wide range of wildlife. Indigenous and migrant bird species are numerous

and with careful feeding are developing all the time. Butterflies, are also numerous and particularly noticeable during the summer season, attracted by many of the nectar rich shrubs and flowers. Within this peaceful haven, there are now 39 private pitches where you can relax and watch nature at work. 27 pitches are serviced with electric and water with a further 12 non serviced pitches spread over our Garden, Meadow and Fen Park areas.

Another glimpse behind-the-scenes. This time, a very productive planning meeting with Ian, Claire and Rob Buswell of SLS UK.

Rob's team is professional, down to earth, straight talking and proactive, and we are very pleased to be working with them for site event management.

Our meeting was about events, considering the requirements of the larger and newer acts now coming to The Secret Garden, and the objectives for our audience's safety, as well as on stage and backstage evacuation in case of emergency. We discussed all aspects of safe event management, first aid and other scenarios that we may have to deal with.

It was a very positive step forward for us - your experience and guidance is now a big part of our plan going forward. Thanks Rob!

Behind-the-scenes!

The emergency cleaners 😂 have been busy this morning fishing out toilet rolls and ping pong balls from the toilets in the Garden amenity block - definitely not Lesley's favourite job to do!

Whilst we take absolute pleasure seeing our younger guests and their families having fun, we do ask that adults make children aware that playing in the toilet and shower blocks isn't permitted, and as such placing large quantities of toilet paper and other items into the system can lead to failures and temporary closures of the amenities.

Thank you for your understanding, and if you see the emergency cleaners out and about, please do say hello 👋

Congratulations to everyone at Nine Lives Theatre Company for raising an impressive £2,226 at their 'Time to Tap' fundraiser on Sunday.

The students danced for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and not only raised over £2,000, but were also the 𝘛𝘰𝘱 𝘍𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘴 for the entire national event! ✨
