Join our team 🍍🐻

I am recruiting for a couple of roles for our expanding teams. Please dm me for a chat or to send your cv. [email protected]

1) 12-16 hour role. Shifts over 7days. Includes sat and Sunday working on a rota basis (both sites ideally)

2) weekend only role- 4-8 hour contract. Additional hours over the holidays etc (Birtley)

Please note that previous hospitality/barista experience is preferred but not essential. I would much rather you were a hard worker, quick learner and a good fit for our crazy team.

Please do not apply if you cannot work weekends. 😘

I am looking to arrange interviews/chats and trials this week so please get in touch if you would like to be considered

I am seeing so many posts from gorgeous small businesses lately, getting battered and falling foul to what I would call a weird social media epidemic. Social media is great but it has also bred a weird society of people who have a platform to say what they want and it sticks forever and it may not be even remotely true. That’s dangerous in the wrong hands…..

I’m old school, or maybe just old. 😂😂🙈🙋‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️I would like my kids to grow up dealing with their issues face to face and the fact we seem to be losing that human element is scary.

We aren’t talking about huge companies here, with massive boards of directors. We are talking about individuals, or maybe a couple of people who rely on their businesses to pay their bills, provide a living and to employ a handful of gorgeous people. Small business is the back bone of our society. It needs your support not your unnecessary criticism when it isn’t perfect. Feedback is great and necessary but the platform is direct to the business; I guarantee that will have more impact if that is your motivation.

If you’re saying something online, solely to make yourself a couple of quid or grow a following and you wouldn’t say it to the owners face then put down your phone. Don’t be “that” person; it’s not a good look.

Instead go and buy a coffee from a small Independent, have a meal there instead of a large chain. Be kind, be forgiving, show humility. Be a good person. The world is better for it ❤️❤️

Think I might start a club where all small business owners can get together and say all the things we wish we could say…. Who’s in? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️😂😂

I feel like I can post these because today felt like autumn….. 🌿🍁🍂🎃

Blown away as always to all of the bookings for our Halloween events; I’m not sure how because it wasn’t the initial plan for the business but our events have become such a huge part of our annual calendar. 🎃

Oldest scarecrow in town 🤷🏼‍♀️🙋‍♀️
