Cafe WY closed its doors last night and will be taking a break. We have taken on board comments made by the young people who call in and we hope to relaunch Spring/Summer next year.

Cafe WY is open 1 December. 7-9pm. If we don't get much footfall we will close early so please come up and see us so we know that you are interested and need us to be open.

Due to illness and other commitments we are not able to open Cafe WY tonight. The next cafe will not be until 1 December as the church needs the centre on the 24 November so we are unable to open that evening. Please pass the message on to friends.

Cafe WY is looking for volunteers to help out at the cafe. Just a couple of hours every couple of months. Serving drinks and tuck, no cooking involved. If you are interested please call into the cafe or message through facebook.

Cafe WY has been a bit quiet over the summer months. We hope that as the nights get darker the kids come back and use us again. This is open to Year 7's and upwards - a place to come and meet friends, listen to music and buy a drink and food. We'd love to see some new faces join us particularly from Year 7 & 8 and would like to ask the older ones to spread the word that the cafe is there. We are open every first and last Friday of the month in term time 7-9pm. As numbers have been low we were wondering if you could take time to ask your child if they would still like to come to the cafe or would not mind if it closed. Over the next few months we will need to make the decision whether to carry on with the cafe so your feedback will be welcomed. If the need is there we will be happy to continue but will also be looking for volunteers to help run the cafe, a maximum of 3 hours every couple of months. The cafe is sponsored by Wingerworth Parish Council and should be noted that this is not a youth club but a drop in cafe. Thanks

Hi All. We hope you have had a good summer. Cafe WY will be opening its doors again on 6th October 7pm til 9pm. We look forward to seeing some familiar faces but also welcoming the Year 7's.

Cafe WY will be open this Friday 30th June 7-9pm. Then next week Friday 7th July until we break up for the summer holidays. We hope to see you there x

We are sorry to let you know that there will not be a Cafe WY in May. The next 2 dates for this term are 30th June and 7th July. Please pass word around

The cafe is open this Friday 28th April 7-9pm. Please look out for further notice on here. We are struggling for volunteers during May and its possible we have to cancel the cafe. We have never had to do this before and would like to ensure that it does not happen again. If anyone would like to talk to us about volunteering please call in and see us or message through this page. The more volunteers we get the less we are rota'd in. Currently its once every 2 months (2 and half hours). We ask for your availability on the cafe dates and will only rota you for a date when you are available. If you get a better offer then there is no obligation and we try and sort an alternative. Our children are older now and most do not attend the cafe anymore. To secure the future of the cafe for the younger ones in the village we would love to meet parents who could help us take this forward.
