💙🚨 WHAT A WEEKEND! 🚨💙

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came down to see us at the Withernsea Beach Hut for Blue Light Weekend! 🌊🦀🦞☕️🍰

What an absolutely massive success it was! We were blown away by how busy it was and loved seeing so many familiar faces as well as lots of new ones. Thank you to everyone who supported us, bought seafood, homemade cakes, savouries, coffees and treats — it really does mean so much to our little business. ❤️

👏 A massive WELL DONE to everyone involved in organising Blue Light Weekend. So much hard work goes on behind the scenes to put on an event like this and you absolutely smashed it! Withernsea was buzzing! 💙

We’re tired, grateful and very happy after such a fantastic weekend! 🥰

🌟 MEET THE STAFF – MIA & ALEX 🌟

Our next Meet the Staff features two of our amazing girls, Mia & Alex. 💙

If you’ve visited our Whitehall Estate Withernsea Beach Hut during the summer, there’s a good chance you’ve been greeted by these two smiling faces! They’ve also worked hard in our Winestead Tearoom and at our annual Bonfire Event, always willing to lend a hand wherever they’re needed.

Mia and Alex are hardworking, reliable, trustworthy and always use their initiative. They never shy away from getting stuck in, always have a smile on their faces, and are a pleasure to have as part of the Whitehall Estate team.

Watching these two grow in confidence has been lovely, and they really are a huge asset to our business. I’m incredibly proud of everything they achieve and have no doubt they’ll go on to do amazing things in whatever path they choose in the future.

🌿 Meet the Staff cartoon version – Haley 🌿

Our next Meet the Staff is Haley – my mum! ❤️

You’ll often find Haley either in our Whitehall Estate Tearoom in Winestead or over at the Withernsea Beach Hut, always with a smile on her face and keeping everything running smoothly.

Behind the scenes, she is just as amazing. From washing what feels like an endless mountain of baking pots, helping keep my house tidy, looking after my children, and preparing all of our fresh sandwiches and salad bowls for the beach hut each morning, she is always there whenever I need her.

I honestly don’t know what I would do without her. She is the kind of person who will always put everyone else first, and our businesses simply wouldn’t be the same without her.

Today we’re introducing the lovely Heather! 💛

Whitehall Estate Tearoom is a family-run business, and Heather isn’t just part of our team… she’s part of our family. ❤️

Heather has worked alongside my husband for over 20 years, and has now been by my side for more than 5 years. Her loyalty, honesty and dedication are second to none, and she gives 100% every single day.

You’ll find Heather welcoming you with a smile as one of our wonderful waitresses in the tearoom at Winestead. Whether she’s looking after our customers, keeping everything running smoothly, or making sure my stock room is organised to perfection (something she’s absolutely brilliant at! 😊), she’s always willing to go the extra mile.

Reliable, hardworking, trustworthy and kind – Heather is a huge part of what makes Whitehall Estate Tearoom so special, and we honestly couldn’t imagine the team without her.

✨ Meet the Staff – Stuart ✨

Next up in our Meet the Staff cartoon series is my brother, Stuart! 👨‍🍳

If you’ve visited Whitehall Estate Tearoom, there’s a good chance Stuart has been busy behind the scenes preparing your breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or one of our popular Ploughman’s platters.

Stuart is the one who holds the fort whenever I’m away on holiday. I trust him 100% to keep everything running just as it should. From keeping on top of stock, sending me regular stock lists, making sure the kitchen and tearoom is spotless, and ensuring the tearoom runs smoothly, I know everything is in safe hands.

Working alongside your family isn’t always easyfor some people but we’re lucky—we genuinely have such a laugh together! We all support one another, help each other out when needed, and stay flexible as a team to make sure everything gets done,working together if someone needs or wants time off.
Stuart has to deal with my children’s daily orders for food which I know he loves 🤣 (stuart does it better than me apparently🙄)

Stuart is a huge asset to Whitehall Estate Tearoom. His loyalty, trustworthiness, hard work and dedication never go unnoticed, and I’m incredibly grateful to have him as part of the team.

✨ MEET THE STAFF – CARTOON EDITION! ✨

First up… it’s me! 👋

I’m Kayleigh, the owner of Whitehall Estate Tearoom. 💛

I’m the person behind the scenes (and usually covered in flour! 😅). From baking and ordering stock to organising the team, answering messages, creating new ideas and jumping into the tearoom kitchen every week – there’s never a dull moment!

I’m also a proud mum of five and stepmom to four and believe it or not, I only learnt to bake during lockdown. What started as a hobby has grown into something I could only have dreamed of.

Today, I’m lucky enough to be running both our much-loved Winestead Tearoom and our Withernsea Beach Hut, where we serve fresh seafood, homemade cakes and bakes, alongside delicious treats from the incredibly talented Get Stuffed.

Now we’re working on our biggest project yet… Whitehall Estate Hedon! 🏗️

It’s taken a little longer than we hoped, but we’re determined to get it absolutely right. We’ve already had the new doors fitted, our new ice cream serving window installed, and we’re eagerly waiting for our specially hand-carved moulds to arrive all the way from Egypt! 🇪🇬🍦

Every delay has been worth it because we want Hedon to be just as special, welcoming and unique as our Winestead Tearoom. We have so many exciting ideas still to bring to life, and I honestly can’t wait to share the finished result with you all.
