Hey it’s Jack here ❤️ Thanks to the boys for being cool with me saying my final piece. So here it goes…

Rather than this being a message of mourning of the closure I want it to be a celebration of you all over the past 6 years. First of all I want to refer to you all as friends and not customers. The moment the doors opened in 2016 something truly special began. Skate shops are all about community, support, togetherness, inclusiveness and of course skateboarding! Friends of Beans have been the soul reason all these things have been the case. Each day I spent in that shop was unique because of you, and it was beyond a pleasure helping friends to keep rolling and smiling. I personally met people I will call family for the rest of my life and gained memories I will treasure forever and I hope that true for not only me. You have all been incredible and although the shop may be no more, please don’t let the community it’s created end with it. Keep it in your heart and continue to support each other in any way possible.
Struggles come with owning a skate shop and giving the shop away was a tough decision but was right for me and for the time and I am so grateful to Cosmin and James for at least giving it a go! I wish them all the best in their next chapter. They are young and ambitious and have the world at their feet.
Thank you so much too ALL the friends of Beans and I’d like to give a special mention to all the distributors, , my Dad, , , .sproul , and all the shop riders. I honestly could go on and on but I’ll leave it there. PEACE AND LOVE ❤️🥲

It is with great sadness that we are announcing the end of our journey as beans and Boards. These last 5 years have been absolutely incredible, and we’re forever grateful for all of the beautiful people that have supported us and shows us love through the good times and the bad.

We will be closing the shutter one final time on the 20th of March. So there’s plenty of time for you all to come and say hi/bye and grab a coffee with us! We’re as gutted as you are so it would mean a lot to say our last goodbyes over a cuppa.

We will also be doing a sale so you can all get some last bits from us for a steal.

The online store is going to be running as usual, for all of you who can’t come visit us.

We have the most wonderful community, so after we close, we’re going to run one more skate jam at Wi******er skatepark so we can end it on a high and thank you for all the happy memories.

Thank you all once again, and we love you from the bottom of hearts
