It's a new month, and the penultimate one of the year (yes we know, unbelievable!).
Time really does need to slow down, and we all need to take every opportunity we can to relax, so why not let us cook and serve your Sunday lunch? We'll even do the washing up afterwards!
Come and relax in our cosy, traditional pub, enjoy a b**r, glass of w**e or a soft drink whilst we do all the work. Food is served from 12pm to 2.30pm, and the bar remains open until 8pm.

It's FRIDAY! And it's the final day of Half Term!

Now we have your attention, are you brave enough to join our Quiz Night this Thursday?
Don't worry, there's nothing scary about it, just lots of friendly faces, lots of laughs, and maybe a few tears from the team who come last 😂.
Tom, our Quiz Master starts the quiz at 8pm. We have it on good authority there may be some 'ghost' teams this month, so arrive early to ensure your place.

Yay, it's the weekend!
What are your plans? It's predicted to be a very grey and damp one so whatever you do wrap up warm.
These are our opening times this weekend. Why not pop in and see us. Maybe for a warming bowl of Stephane's homemade soup? It is a meal in itself, and great value at just £8.50.
Or join us for a Sunday roast, it saves you having to do the cooking (and the washing up afterwards).

Just a little reminder that it's time to sort out those vinyls and bring them down to The Swan this evening. Our Vinyl Sessions are great fun and DJ Chris and his team enjoy seeing the variety of tunes they get asked to play.

The new week looms and what a week we have planned!
Join us on Wednesday for some artistic fun. Even if you think you can't paint, with the expert tuition provided you will come away with a painting to be proud of. And memories of a fun night.
If music is more your thing, then come on down on Thursday for our regular Vinyl Session. It's always a great night when DJ Chris and his team get behind the decks and play your favourite vinyls.
Don't forget we have moved to our winter menus now, so as the weather turns colder the Swan is the perfect place to warm up.

Good morning on this bright and beautiful autumn day.
It was a chilly one earlier, who was surprised to see the frost in places?
It seems the perfect time to announce that our winter menus have arrived. There's more warming options, including hot paninis on the lunchtime menu, and of course there is always Stephane's delicious homemade soup, the perfect winter warmer.

🎶 We Wish You a Merry.....
No, wait, we hear you say, it's only October and too early for all that!
BUT if you are planning the work Christmas meal or trying to juggle family or friends diaries to get everyone together before the Big Day, then now is the perfect time to get it booked.
We already have a couple of bookings pencilled into the diary, so don't delay if you have a specific date in mind.

If you have been to one of our vinyl sessions before you know what a really fun night they are.
If you haven't been then do yourself a favour, come on down on Thursday 22nd October, relax and let the tunes work their magic. You may even go home with a whole host of lovely memories swirling around your head, releasing that happy dopamine to get you through Friday and into the weekend.
Get up into the loft or deep into that cupboard and dig out those old vinyls that you went to the record shop to buy. Bring them along and we can all take a trip down memory lane.

A very Good Morning to you on this Wednesday Hump Day! It's a wet and grey one, quite a rare phenomenon recently.
If you are wondering what to do today, how about including lunch at our beautiful village pub? There are a variety of dishes to choose from on the menu. Perhaps a day like today calls for a bowl of Stephane's delicious homemade soup? Or, if you are still in sunnier weather mode how about a caeser salad before we change over to our winter menus next week?
We are open from 12pm until 2pm for lunch. We then reopen at 5pm for drinks and our evening menu is served from 6pm to 8pm.
