💕 What a lovely afternoon we had yesterday! 💕

A huge thank you to all the wonderful ladies who joined us for our Ladies’ Afternoon Tea. It was such a brilliant afternoon with some of our very favourite faces. 🥂🫖🍰

When we first opened The Tap House, you could probably count the number of women who came through the door on one hand! 😂 How times have changed…

One of the things we’re most proud of is seeing just how many women now call The Tap their local. Whether you’re popping in with friends, coming in on your own, joining us for an event or simply fancying a glass of w**e or a pint at the bar, The Tap House is your pub too. ❤️

Yesterday was really just our little way of celebrating all the fabulous women who have helped make The Tap the friendly, welcoming place it is today. Our raffle also £245 for local charity Going for Bust a charity close to our hearts and one that has supported some of the Tap House family directly.

Thank you for coming, thank you for supporting us, and most of all, thank you for bringing so much laughter, friendship and life into our little pub.

And to any ladies who haven’t ventured into The Tap yet… come and give us a try. Gone are the days when the pub was just somewhere for the old boys! 😉🍷🍺

Here’s to many more afternoons like yesterday. 🥂💕

🎸 SUNDAY AFTERNOON LIVE MUSIC! 🍻

Join us this Sunday for a brilliant afternoon with The Small Hours — an acoustic rock trio playing live from 4pm! You may recognise some faces from Ironhide!

And, of course, it wouldn’t be a Tap House Sunday without Happy Hour from 4:30–6:30pm, with selected pints just £4. 🙌

Great music, fantastic ales and the perfect Sunday atmosphere — come and spend the afternoon with us!

🎷🇺🇸 JAZZ CLUB IS BACK! 🇺🇸🎷

After the wild success of our very first Jazz Club, we simply had to do it again! Next month, Andy Oldfield will be back at the helm, but this time we’re giving the evening a slight American twist… 🇺🇸🎙️🎶

The format remains the same – a wonderfully relaxed, radio-show-style evening where you can enjoy the music, chat, eat and drink while Andy takes us on another journey through Jazz.

And, of course, we’ll have Al Boudreaux and Alex Roberts back with some fabulous food to complete the evening. 🍴

⚠️ BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL

We’ve actually reduced the capacity by 10 seats this time to give everyone a little more room and make the evening even more comfortable. That means places are more limited than ever, so please don’t leave it too late!

We’ve also got seven lovely real ales on the bar today, with three included in our usual Happy Hour. 🍺

We would like to warmly invite anyone who knew Sharon, or who simply wishes to pay their respects, to join us at The Tap House this Thursday from 6pm for a complimentary drink.

We will raise a glass in her memory and spend some time sharing stories, thoughts and fond memories of Sharon together.

There will be no formality—just a chance for those who cared about her to come together, remember her and celebrate her life. Everyone is very welcome. ❤️

It is with great sadness that we share the news that our lovely customer and friend, Sharon, has passed away.

Sharon was a much-loved part of our Tap House family and will be fondly remembered by so many of us. Her passing has come as a great shock, and she will be very sadly missed.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Sharon’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, Sharon. You will not be forgotten. ❤️
