On the first Wednesday of each month, we host a Compassionate Cafe session in conjunction with Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care

These sessions provide a safe space for those experiencing bereavement or loss to meet with others who will understand and listen.
There is no need to book; please just pop in this Wednesday, 7th October, between 1:30 and 3pm, if you feel this would be beneficial.
We're a friendly bunch and we look forward to seeing you.

Meet Caroline, one of our amazing volunteers! Caroline usually volunteers with us twice a week, for which we are very grateful and enjoys making the customers feel welcome. She appreciates that volunteering with us is flexible and fits around her busy family life. If you can give just an hour of your time, you too can make a positive difference to our community. Email [email protected] for more information.

We really are very proud to be a hub of our community. A meeting place for joggers, walkers, cyclists as well as those who prefer just to sit and watch the world go by! Thank you everyone, we love being here to serve you all 💚

It's BIG PICNIC DAY!!🎉Join in the fun from 11am on the sports field in front of the shop.
We'll be open as usual from 8.30am, serving coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cold drinks. Our food menu is trimmed down for today to allow us to serve you as quickly as possible, but there's still lots of tasty treats available, such as our "famous" Bacon Baps, Sausage Rolls, Pasties and Sandwiches, all available to takeaway so you don't miss any of the fun!

Our Volunteer of the Month is Barbara!

Congratulations Barbara, and thank you so much for all your hard work. It is very much appreciated.
Barbara has been with us for about three and a half years and she is part of a regular Monday afternoon shift where good friendships have been forged. She performs lots of tasks on her shifts, from making coffees and teas, serving customers on the till, keeping the kitchen shipshape and helping with close up.

If you feel that volunteering with us would enhance your life, please do get in touch by email to [email protected] See less
