Monday 31st August signals the start of Rushcart Week and here at The Band Club we love the run upto Whitworth's Rushcart. We will have a cellar jam packed with craft ales for you to enjoy throughout the week and we will have not 1 but 2 nights of live music. We are moving our Open Mic Night from the end of August to Wednesday 2nd September and on Friday 4th September our Beer 'n' Brass Night returns with the famous Stompers.

Sunday 6th is the big day. Our very own Whitworth Vale & Healey Brass Band will lead the Rushcart, setting off outside The Club at 1pm. The Club will be open from 10am welcoming everyone who is involved in The Rushcart procession.

We can't wait to see you all in The Club 😊

You asked, we listened 🙂

The club will open at the earlier time of 12 this Saturday, giving you time to grab a pint before sitting down to watch Hull City v Man Utd, kick off 12.30pm.

Then on Sunday, for all you Burnley fans, we will open at the earlier time of 11.30am ready for West Brom v Burnley, kick off at 12.

Never fear, the Band Club is still here 😃

The Community Shield kicks off at 3pm this afternoon. Why not call in, watch Arsenal take on Man City, whilst enjoying a pint of our award winning cask ales. Choose from Timothy Taylor's Brewery Landord, Hobgoblin Gold Beer, Pictish Brewing Company Talisman & Wishbone Brewery Beat-Herder.

If football isn't your thing, then join us this evening for Quiz Night. Your quizmaster for the evening is Steve. Everyone welcome.

Our open mic night is back this evening.

If you can sing, play an instrument or just have the enthusiasm and confidence to come along and perform in front of our lovely staff and customers here at The Band Club, then why not pop in and see what it's all about 🎙.

Even if singing is not for you, come along and enjoy the atmosphere, energy and sounds of our regular open mic gang performing a mixture of covers and originals.

All acoustic acts welcome and we even throw in a free pint for every performer 🍺 🎤 🎶.
