A great evening shucking for the opening of Bloomsbury in the heart of London.
The evening was co-hosted by Vogue’s own .

A real pleasure to be part of such a well put together event, alongside some brilliant brands and suppliers. Even better to see the evening featured in Vogue.

Events like this are exactly why we love what we do.

Our oyster bar was beautifully styled for the occasion by .place alongside English sparkling wine from , which paired perfectly with the oysters throughout the evening.

The hotel is an absolute must-visit.

Before we get extra busy for the season, we thought it was a good time to (re)introduce ourselves.

We’re Khost & Terry, and we set up Oyster Buoys in 2023 after meeting while working on an oyster farm. Somewhere between long days out on the farm or in the grading shed and scribbling ideas on scraps of paper in the pub, it became pretty clear we shared a very strong passion for oysters… and Oyster Buoys was born.

We wanted to create something a little different, not just serving quality oysters at events, but bringing our knowledge with us too. For us, it’s about sharing where oysters come from, how they’re grown, and why they deserve the spotlight.

Now, we work with clients across the UK at both public and private events, from small, intimate gatherings to some of the country’s biggest festivals!
