💍❤️ One year ago today…

On what was possibly the rainiest day ever, Andy and I finally got married after 15 years of being together. ☔️🥰

Fast forward one year and how did we celebrate our anniversary?

By spending the day hard at work in the café we’ve built, created and brought to life together. 🧱☕️

It might not be the most romantic way to spend your first wedding anniversary… but honestly, we wouldn’t change a thing. ❤️

We’ve spent the last year building something that means so much to us, and getting to share Bricks & Brews with all of you makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Here’s to 16 years together, one year married, and plenty more adventures still to build. 🥂🧱❤️

🧱 Mario gives our new step-free access ramp the thumbs up! 👍

We’re really pleased to now have a portable ramp available at Bricks & Brews, which we can put in place to help customers who need step-free access into the café.

We want Bricks & Brews to be a place where everyone can come along, build, play and enjoy a coffee, so this is another little step towards making the café more accessible. ❤️

And, after a thorough test by one of our most experienced drivers… Mario has approved it! 🍄🏎️

If you need to use the ramp, just let a member of the team know and we’ll be happy to get it in place for you.

🧱 Introducing Home Ed Tuesdays at Bricks & Brews! ☕️

We’re really excited to be launching a dedicated weekly session for home-educated children and their parents/carers. 💛

Every Tuesday, 10am–12pm, Bricks & Brews will be set aside for our Home Ed community — a relaxed, welcoming space where children can build, create, experiment and play, while parents and carers can enjoy a cuppa and connect with other home-ed families.

🧱 £8 per child
☕️ Parent/carer comes FREE
🥤 Plus, the accompanying adult gets a free tea, coffee or soft drink.

LEGO® isn't just about following instructions! Creative, open-ended play gives children the opportunity to develop problem-solving, spatial awareness, fine motor skills, imagination and confidence, all while having fun and making their own creations.

And we know home education isn't just about learning — community matters too. We hope these sessions will give children a chance to meet and build alongside other home-educated children, while giving parents and carers an opportunity to meet, chat, share experiences and build their own support network. ❤️

Whether your child is a LEGO® expert, a creative builder, a fan of LEGO® DUPLO®, or just loves making things up as they go along, there's something for everyone.
