💛 Thank You, Taste Cumbria Maryport! 💛

What a lovely experience Cumbria Maryport! It was our first time, and it felt different, exciting, yet very homely. 😊

We enjoyed the music, the wonderful vibes, and most of all, talking to so many lovely people who stopped by our Dosa Chaska stall, tried our food and shared their kind words with us.

A huge thank you to the team Taste Cumbria. You have always been so supportive and looked after every trader so well. Even when the heavy wind decided our gazebo needed replacing 😄, the team were there helping us — with smiles on their faces. That really says everything about the people behind this event. ❤️

The weather had its own plans, but it didn’t stop people coming out, enjoying themselves and making the most of the day. I think that’s one of the best things about Taste Cumbria — whatever the weather, the spirit and energy carry on!

We’re truly grateful for all the love, support and encouragement we received.

🚴‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Ian & Cathie’s Ride, Refuel & Rise Story

Ian and Cathie start their mornings on the road — cycling through Cumbria, chasing hills, fresh air and that feeling of being fully alive.
But every ride brings the same moment: when the legs slow down, the stomach wakes up, and they need something that doesn’t undo all the good they’ve just done.

That’s when they roll into Cockermouth our Dosa Chaska Cafe 

They’ve been coming to us after their rides few times. It’s become part of their rhythm — finish the ride, park the bike, walk in smiling.
Ian usually goes straight for the Mumbai Bhaji Dosa. It’s familiar, comforting, and gives him exactly what he needs after a long climb.

But today was different.

He tried the Beetroot Houmous Vitality Dosa.
Halfway through, he looked up and said, “I might need to rethink my favourite.”

And when Ian picked up his Mint Masala Lemonade, that was it — the reset, the refresh, the moment every cyclist knows they need.

They didn’t come to us for a treat.
They came because they’re building a life of movement, strength and joy… and they’ve found food that fits that story.

Chelle came all the way from Workington to try our food — and she started with our Classic Potato Dosa Roll.
She told us it was so delicious and so filling that she felt completely satisfied… and then still wanted to explore more.
She tried our vegan mango lassi next and said she’s never had a mango lassi this good, not even in India.
Then came the mini pancake — she loved it so much she decided to take one home for her tea because the dosa roll had already filled her up beautifully.
